Simply the Best!

Husbands hip revision was skillfully done by this highly experienced surgeon who also teaches at the University. Absolutely top notch. My husband said he had so much less pain after this surgery than others he had in the past. He also restored the correct length to my husbands right leg to match his left. Something the other surgeon botched up in the past. Have no fear or reservations with choosing him as your surgeon. Very grateful to him for his outstanding job.

This is the absolute best orthopedic surgeon in the Chattanooga area. Ignore anything on here that says anything else. Fantastic job on a hip revision and this revision involved some very complicating factors. He is the go to surgeon in this area if you want it done right.

Found out if you complain that they make up the office visits, you are not well liked. Or, if you leave the office for lab work they want, they will be angry you complain when they neglect to call in the order and after waiting in line for 15 minutes in pain, find out you have to walk all the back to office. If you are unhappy, they are not apologetic. If you point out the office visit they describe on my account has to be someone else's, they are also unhappy. Dr. F and I got off to a poor start when on my first visit , I had the nerve to walk up to a desk where he is seated and ask on more question about surgery. He is arrogant and you get that right away. But, of course, you think you can deal with it....NOT. Two friends also had similar experience and when I told them to read the office visit notes on their own portals. Also fabricated. Things we talked about were not there, but their entries appear to be standardized regardless..... Two of us had same wording on our portals that were made up. WORST of all, he decided a 76 year old woman only needed a partial knee replacement. Well, that lasted for about 2 months of continuous pain. Dr Free stated he has never seen osteoarthritis progress so quickly. So , changed MDs and started all over again with a total knee 6 months later . THE WORST care I have had in my limited experience as a patient! First surgery, first hospitalization . DO NOT take a chance on him. Friends did get a decent surgery, but all agreed he is very haughty and seems bothered when asked questions. Second surgery was perfect, but terrible to go through it all again and cost me a fortune . Friend at my horse barn also did not please them, so she went elsewhere. You are a bother, not a patient who expects care and actual communication.

Dr Freeman helped give my life back, the best way I can respond about Dr. Freeman "Thank you"! What more do I need to say, a Thank you says it all!

Knew from first visit this MD was not going to be what I had hoped for. My surgery had to be totally redone within 4 months because I needed a total knee and he only did partial....at age 76!! Within 2 months, revision was needed. He did not like my asking him a question after our 1st visit as I was leaving....very obvious. Staff was fine, only really saw the PA. However the PORTAL which seemed like good idea was mostly fabricated. Nothing we talked about and miscellaneous comments that were totally generic were the norm When I questioned it, no one was happy with me! One of nurses had me walk all over that hospital and lobby trying to get lab work they failed to call to OK. I was in a lot of unnecessary pain because he wanted to blame me instead of acknowledge his error. Said he never say OA progress so quickly. No kidding? My revision surgeon was a dream come true, honest dealings and perfect outcome. Dr. Freeman? Definite negative. He cost me pain, time , more time and more pain and double expense. He is hubris personified ...can still see that privileged facial expression.

Dr. Freeman was very patient with me as I prepared myself for knee replacement. He took time to answer any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with my decisions along the way. He is very kind and caring and left me completely at ease with having surgery. He is detail oriented and my incision looks great compared to others I have seen.

Dr. Freeman worked with me in dealing with intermittent severe hip pain. His interest in supporting my well being, diligence in pursuing an accurate diagnosis and helpfulness in overcoming the pain issue were superb. I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism. :-)

Total right hip replacement by Dr. Freeman. Excellent surgeon and very caring about my recovery. Totally shocked by how small/thin the scar is.

Incredible surgeon ! Ultimate professional . Dr Freeman is well respected by his peers and other medical professionals . Would highly recommend !
