I don't know who leaves these 1 Star reviews, but reading them, it seems they have a common theme. Dr. Schweitz has been treating me for 20 years and I have a very complex Rheumatology issue which I was misdiagnosed for a year prior to seeing him and in one visit, he was able to determine what was wrong and the course of action. He is no longer seeing new patients I don't believe but one of the greatest Dr. I have ever met!

This doctor misjudged me and did not even review the 200+pages that was provided by my prior Rheumatologist who treated me for 9 years. He injected my hips which is why I went but then he said”well you have fibromyalgia I don’t know what you want from me. He didn’t even request a follow up visit. The staff is rude and unhelpful they all don’t care! And because I gave him the review he deserved none of the others in the pac will see me. Now I hear he’s gone, retired. Good now he can’t mistreat another patient.

I do not think he is practicing still but they do not tell you that. I ended up seeing a PA when I went for my appt. That was not the problem. His staff,namely Sarah, who is rude and authoritarian . I dared to question her on the phone when she called and the next thing I knew I was barred from the office by a letter. I was not rude or abusive but firm. Doctors should have their staff value their patients not abuse them. I called the office manager and got no apology. I have been a patient for 2 years.

I question whether the people who left positive reviews are confusing Dr Schweitz with someone else? He was, by far, one of the worst doctors I've ever seen. He treated me with cold condescension, barely looked at the paperwork I'd spent so long filling out (if at all), seemed annoyed that I had a lot of symptoms. He ended up saying that he didn't know what was wrong with me, but didn't suggest doing any blood work. I was treated very poorly at this office, and it was a complete waste of time. I was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease by a competent doctor who practices elsewhere.

Arrogant, rude, should not be working with people

RUDE, UNKIND, NON CARING, Should not be working with patients. A family member of mine, waited a few months for this appointment, drove over an hour to get there, has major symptoms, really needs a doctor, is on medicare and when the patient suggested certain tests to help figure out what is wrong...Dr. Schweits told them to "GET DRESSED AND GET OUT" really!!! He should not be allowed to work with patients. It is a privilege to have the gift to help people and when your ego gets in the way it is time for you to get a NEW JOB!
