I’ve been a patient at Psychiatric Care Florida for about 6–7 years, and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Dr. Jessica Shabo is truly one of a kind, she’s patient, compassionate, and always makes me feel comfortable and cared for. You can tell right away that she and the entire staff genuinely love what they do. The environment here is so welcoming and supportive. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated with kindness and respect. It never feels cold or clinical, you feel safe, understood, and never judged. Everyone goes out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of, and it’s clear that their focus is on people, not profit. After all these years, I still feel so grateful to have found Psychiatric Care Florida. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine, and I truly couldn’t imagine receiving my care anywhere else.

I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Shabo. She truly cares about her patients and always takes the time to listen. Every visit feels welcoming, supportive, and never rushed. It’s clear that she’s passionate about helping people and goes above and beyond to make sure we feel understood and cared for. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist.

THIS REVIEW IS SPECIFICALLY FOR VANESSA!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN WITH HER ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW AND THIS WELL EDUCATED PHENOMENAL CARING WOMAN HAS HELPED SAVE MY LIFE!!!! YES I LOVED DR SHABO BUT WHEN I SWITCHED IT HAS BEEN SUCH A BLESSING TO MY LIFE….. DEALING WITH MENTAL ILLNESS IS VERY SCARY AND DARK BUT VANESSA HAS BROUGHT THE LIGHT OUT OF THOSE DARKS PLACES…..SOME THINGS I WAS UNEASY ABOUT BUT BECAUSE I TRUSTED HER AND GOD WE GOT THROUGH IT….SHE IS WAYYYYY BETTER THAN MOST OF THESE ACTUAL PSY DOCTORS BECAUSE SHE DONT JUST THROW MEDS SHE EXPLAINS THEM SHE GIVES HER OPINION AND SHE WANTS YOU TO FEEL COMFORTABLE!!!! I WISH I COULD GIVE HER A RAISE LOL NO BUT SERIOUSLY SHE IS AMAZING AND I HOPE THIS REVIEW GETS BACK TO HER MANAGER…..ALSO MONICA IS AMAZING I HAD HER PREVIOUSLY AS MY THERAPIST AND SHE CHALLENGED ME WHICH I HATED AND GAVE ME HOMEWORK BUT SHE IS GOOD AT WHAT SHE DOES AND IM ALSO THANKFUL FOR HER #THANKS FOR EVERYTHING LADIES THE WORLD NEED THE BOTH OF YOU!!!!! She takes the time to get to know you and takes all of your details to help you as a whole person, and not just looking at symptoms but also looking at the whole self. She's great.

Went here for several years. Unfortunately, I missed an appt. With that I was completely ghosted by my provider. No response to multiple emails. The office lied stating they had tried to contact me to fix the situation. Missing this appt and then being ghosted sent me into such spiral, I have never felt so uncared or alone. I trusted this office with everything in me, and they dropped me like I was nothing. Be careful!

I’ve been going here for a while and the staff are very kind, super calm energy. When I have my appointments with Dr.Vanessa Alban, there is never a wait and she always listens and does her best to help me get to the best version of me. Thank you again for your amazing service!

Ive been going here a few months i believe, everyone is so nice i love it. the energy is so positive and welcoming. Theres never a long wait either. Dr Vanessa is my doctor and she makes me feel heard and she actually listens and thats very rare to find, she’s been very helpful. You guys are awesome thank you for everything:D

As others said, if I could give 0 stars I would. Want your doctor to abandon you during your hardest times? If yes then this office is for you. Amonst many other reviews all this office cares about is money. If they don’t get a no show fee they drop you. The office won’t work with you for payments it’s either pay the fee or get kicked to the curb, also let me mention I paid 1/2 of my $150 no shoe so it was another $75 I just needed to spread out over 2 payments but no. I’ve worked in drs office for 15 years MOST office will allow smaller payments but no not here. Then they just send notice how they are “ releasing you” from the practice due to improper follow up care failing to mention it’s because they need money first. When you are seeing these “medical professionals for mental health and this is how they treat patients this is exactly why many are scared to commit to doctors in the first place. I mean you depend on them for care but they just close the door on you when times are tough. I even called the office asking for 3-5 days of medication until I have an appointment with my new doctor and They said NO, told me I can go to the ER. They should know getting a psychiatry appointment instantly is impossible it took me over 5 weeks to get an appointment and the office won’t cover the time lapse from them releasing me due to HALF OF missed payment to me seeing a new doctor…. 3-5 days worth. This literally has to be the worst practice I’ve ever came across and other patients have made it clear they feel the same. All they care about is money. Meanwhile you loose patients on over a no show fee instead of making payment plans and continuing to get paid by their insurance. But you can always count on a mental health professional to help you. When life gets hard count on this practice to just make it harder and do the complete opposite of their profession. Instead of helping they mentally destroy.

Unprofessional office staff. Allie the office manager owns the property and if she doesn't like you for no reason, you will be tossed out of there. I have seen it happen. Find another place!
