If I could give less then a 0 I would! Today I had a appointment at 9:45 with doctor Raymond LEVEILLEE and waited until 11:45 in the waiting room before they took me back then it took 20 minutes for a nurse to come in which she was very nice and then I told her I had to leave by 1pm the time was 12:08 and I live in Fort Pierce and have kids in school, so then doctor Raymond came in and said no one is holding you, you can leave here's your paperwork and kick me out of his office. He is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen in my 43 years of life. He needs his license revoked!!!
I was recommended to Dr L by my urologist who also is an incredible urologist, recommended by my friend, an anesthesiologist. So when professionals within the industry recommend to family & friends it weighs significantly for me who I can trust. First to address the many comments on the “long wait times”, yes I too have waited a long time for my visits but it’s because he is in surgery daily at the hospital across the street. He is busy not out of greed but because he is so highly recommended and well known for his expertise and he lives for his patients and simply gives as many people his time and care. Dr L is an expert period. I believe is or was a professor at UM. I had kidney stone surgery, one that can be difficult and one that if the surgeon is not skilled can do some major damage. After researching & watching videos on my procedure I knew I could only trust this highly recommended doctor to perform my surgery. He is actually funny and kind when you get know him.
This place is horrible. Almost a scam. Bethesda refuses to do surgeries and refers you to this place. They don't inform you of anything. I don't know how this is legal. Three weeks after getting referred to this place I call to make sure the date of my appointment and time. Lady on the phone tells me she never confirmed it and asks if I’d like to now. This lady working the front desk is highly unprofessional and should be fired her attitude and tone of voice was unreasonably unacceptable
My regular urologist, who I have been seeing for over 40 years, found a spot on one of my kidneys. He called me AT HOME at night , which he has never done before, and told me to call Dr. Leveillee first thing in the morning and make an appointment. Long story short, Dr. Levellee used laparoscopic robotic surgery to remove a small part of my kidney and some other items that he knew might cause future problems. The surgery and hospital time were 4 days total, and I am healthy again. The Dr. follows-up with scans every 6 months, and so far no issues. EVERYTHING he does is both professional and friendly. If you have anything like my situation, I suggest you do as my regular urologist told me to do: Call Dr. Leveillee ASAP for the best possible outcome you can have.
After waiting 3 months for a consultation, had surgery scheduled for 2 more months after. A month before my surgery I get a call that surgery was canceled. No explanation, no referral to other doctors, nothing. Horrible
Dr. Leveillee is a great doctor, his front office staff on the other hand is the WORST. I had a Foley catheter inserted last night at the Bethesda Emergency room and upon discharge was told to follow up today with Dr. Leveille, which I am a past patient of. Upon arriving this morning I was told the next available appointment was at the end of January. When I showed the girl the discharge instructions stating to follow up with the doctor this morning she said the hospital does not tell them how to run their office even though the doctor has a contract with Bethesda. I wish he could find better front office personnel. I remember them being rude on my past appointments. I’m in the process of finding a new urologist.
Staff is friendly, actively listens, and doctor is very down to earth and thorough.
I was diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in both my Kidneys at the age of 50 years old in 2006 and was told by another Urologist out of Delray Medical Center to look up Doctor Leveillee and Doctor Bird. They worked in Miami at the time at Jackson Memorial Hospital. My Right Kidney had to be removed in September of 06 then in September of 2007 they Ablated the tumor I had on my left kidney and it was a MAJOR SUCCESS. Although Dr Leveillee did not perform the first surgery, he was very involved in the ablation and it was a complete success. I have been Cancer FREE for 16 years now. Doctor Leveillee is smart and also great on how he treats his patients.
Discussing first visit waited three hours and had to leave before seeing him. Second visit the same thing. Evidently he cannot combine his surgery and office visits his staff no help
Best doctor ever!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
