I believe Doctor Shani Katz honestly cares about her patients as does her staff ! Any question I have ever ask Dr Katz have been answered truthfully with no bullxxxx and no sugarcoating and that is what i want the truth. My first surgery was a total knee replacment it has been 8 months now and it has been been a long recovery with more to come and i was told it is a rough operation and Dr Katz has been there for me and helping me all the way . I have such good faith in Dr Katz I am now planning a Hip Replacment and I know that she will be there when i need Her Thank - You Doctor Katz AJ

Doctor not experienced. Makes mistakes, then blames patient on lack of effort during physical therapy. Even after therapist certifies that you are doing everything asked. Avoid this doctor.

Obtaining an appointment was a nightmare. They so overbook that one is not seen for over an hour from appointment time.

Most AWFUL experience! My mother and I sat in the waiting room with my 1 yr old for over 2 hrs! They put my mother in the computer under the wrong name even after her filling out all that paperwork and writing her name on all 8 pages. My mother had x-rays of her hand, we sat in the room for almost an hr with my daughter screaming. Dr Katz finally came in, didn't even look at the x-rays grabbed my mother's hand and injected her with cortisone. Didn't even give her any follow up information!

Incompetent narcissist award goes to this DO. 3 HOURS waiting in the office and she didn't even read my test results nor notes from prior ortho that worked in the SAME office before telling me that I needed better insurance and walked out of the room. My insurance had already given prior authorization. Trying to get records from Spine and Orthopedic Specialists of South Florida for over 2 months now. Multiple elderly patients in waiting area being treated so poorly it made me ill. Don't go there
