My father was a patient for many years, so I decided to go myself when looking for an eye doctor in Boynton Beach. Everyone was friendly and patient. Answered all questions and I felt very comfortable.

the Boynton office was very busy and over scheduled so they told me to go to the lake worth office, it wasn't as busy. not only was it extremely over scheduled, Maiyli the office manager was rude and didn't listen to my questions. in my post op visit, I waited for over an hour and a half and when I asked to come back the next day the office staff told me they would get in trouble. a very dysfunctional staff. it seems disrespectful and greedy to overbook so many people at both offices

My mom was seen by Dr. Sibia for blurring of vision. She needs to have her cataract removed and fix her glaucoma too. Unfortunately my mom's surgery was denied by her insurance carrier and when I called her insurance company they said that it was because of a very weak clinical notes. The surgical coordinator, Maily was grossly incompetent because if she is good in her job she should have anticipated the root cause of the problem prior to submission of the pre-authorization. She was unkind and rude and even suggested to change my mom's specialist.

Incompetent and disorganized staff. My mom has an appointment today but was canceled because they said that the doctor had an emergency. They said they called my cell phone to notify me but it was a lie. I wasted my time going to that office and I work and this is the only day I can bring my mom for her doctor’s appointment.

No one ever introduced themself at this office, but proceeded to do a bunch of unnecessary and unrelated exams involving multiple eye drops including dilation and equipment. These were completely unrelated to my chief complaint. The glaucoma specialist suggested LPI surgery. As an incognito visiting physician, I’m calling total BS. These procedures are obviously done here at an unnecessary rate. I wouldn’t be surprised if a malpractice lawsuit found them very soon. Highly unethical. My chief complaint was never addressed. I went to a different ophthalmologist today and the physician was wonderful. I suggest you do the same.

???Do not go to this incompetent ophthalmologist ! His negligence caused me total blindness in my eye ! On 12-9-20 I went to Dr, Sibia. I had tunnel vision and my eye was tearing and hurting. He never checked my retina, and told me I had allergic conjunctivitis, and sent me home with nothing but eyedrops. By 12-16-20 I was totally blind in that eye. I went back to his office that day and his younger associate Dr. Ireland had my retina checked. She was so embarrassed to tell me that I had a detached retina, and that she didn't know how Dr. Sibia missed this. She got me to a retina doctor that day and I had emergency surgery on 12-17-20. The retina doctor told me that if Dr. Sibia had found the D.R. he could have fixed it with no loss of vision. After 3 months my final vision is 20-60, only being able to be corrected to 20-50 with glasses, with many types of distortions. I cannot read or drive with this eye. I went for other consultations, nothing more can be done for me.

Great doctor with what appears to be dishonest billing practices. I was billed a lot of money and when I asked for an explanation of the bill, I was told very rudely that they did not have to explain their services to me and that it was none of my business!? They then proceeded to be very rude and nasty and told me that they were going to send me to collections. if I did not pay the full amount. This doctor treats mostly elderly patients. I feel bad for these older folks who probably do not look and question their bills.

Excellent Doctor!! I have a procedure done, everything went so well. .Dr. Sibia is kind and a great Surgeon!!

Bait and switch practiced here. Also , wanted to charge $40 for refraction test, which IS covered by my insurance. Lastly, was told I would not be given copy of RX unless I paid the $ 40. Insult to injury, an office manager actually became hostile when I requested refund of copay. For routine eye exam, go elsewhere.
