Sol Velez Cortes's Online Review Report Card

She is an A +++ Dr. She is excellent diagnostician, no other dr. takes her/his time as much as she does ( and her team, Rosa , Dania), collecting info, teaching , explaining. No one comes even close to her. I owe her my life- she changed my life around with her right treatments and referrals. As much as she is reassuring, she is realistic. I will always b grateful to her. I know I can trust her, that as long as I’m her patient, I’m in good hands.

Called last week to make an appt for my 90 year old mother. Gave insurance info, etc. Was told they will call me back next day for the appt. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM! I guess they don't need the business. Wonder if the dr herself knows how inefficient her staff is!

Don't even bother w/this Dr. Newly moved to Florida and need a new Dr. I've got Type 2 Diabetes, and a few other conditions and I called to see if they were accepting other patients. After the receptionist transferred me to someone else, she took a bunch of information including my insurance name, ID, everything, she said she could get me in to see the Dr. next week, and would verify my insurance and call me back. I didn't hear back and called this morning and spoke w/the same person who told me that she verifies insurances on Friday and that she still had to speak w/the Dr. and would have had to move patients around for me and that I was free to find another Dr. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder if Dr. Cortes knows how her staff is treating potential NEW CLIENTS!!! Seems like they are running the show and not the Dr. If I could leave Zero Stars I would have. Too bad I didn't even get to find out if Dr. Cortes is a good Dr. or not.

Dr Velez is an amazing doctor- caring and knowledgeable. She takes time with every single patient to listen, educate and deal with whatever issues come up. Dr. Velez makes sure she has a total picture of patient health by gathering information from all the doctors who care for that patient.I would recommend her to anyone who needs excellent care.

I moved to Boynton Beach in 2017 and before I even thought of getting a primary I had a stroke. Dr Velez was recommended and I've never looked back. She is thorough, extremely intelligent and actually listens to you. I feel safe to be in her hands which helps me hear what she says and I make changes that are always positively impacting my life.

She is a very busy but she takes the time to listen and you never feel rushed. She is a very conscientious and intelligent woman. She has been my PCP for about 11 years now and I wouldn't change her.

I've now been a patient of Dr. Velez for about 3 years. She is the best primary physician I have ever had. Extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She reviews your record before coming in to see you and addresses ongoing needs from the past as well as why you're there that day. She doesn't rush in and then out. I couldn't be happier for the care I receive. Office staff is pleasant, professional and attentive.

Extremely Long wait time always! Office personnel have no people skills.

My 1st. most thorough, most carefully listened to, Dr. ...in spite of this being first my first visit...it seemed as if I was being healed when only she LISTENED to me! placed the stethoscope to my carotid artery, my heart, my Lungs, and my 'calloused feet, I felt the pressure and counted 3-4 seconds before she checked other areas.... TY Lord for placing one of Your physicians in my life. Feels like my 71st , 09/21, will have a new outlook on life, as I have made up my mind to begin a Plant Base Diet; and with You, being the Great Physician in charge. I know I will make it. ⚘

You will not find a better internist than Dr. Velez. She is brilliant in her ability to diagnose and treat an illness. Dr. Velez is compassionate and professional and listens carefully and thoughtfully to my every concern. Medications and treatments are monitored thoroughly and she remembers all of my past concerns. Although I sometimes have to wait for her, I know that it is because she is giving another patient needed time. My mother and I have been with her for over 25 years and I would NEVER change to another doctor. I trust her completely!!!
