This post is not about the Dr himself, It is about the office staff that does not care about patients. They are rude, unpleasant and despicable. I had a visit where they told me that I had to pay my Deductible (NOT MY COPAY) or I could not be seen. I was a patient for years and this new staff is whats wrong with the health industry these days. I told them that I already sent checks to other Doctors (That were not cashed yet) and whatever information they have regarding my deductible was WRONG. I didn't have my credit card and They said if I don't pay the deductible I have to make another appointment. I walked out and will never go to this office again. I would avoid this office completely and go somewhere else
Dr. Skinner is the best Dr. with the worst office manager, Julie. Do I stay or do I go, is the question. I wish Doc sees the consistent criticism of the office manager and rethinks her position in his office.
This place made me get my own medical supplies in order to get my procedures done here, and ONLY from the pharmacy across the street that I had to pay for. One time Dr Skinner injured me because I wasn't told I had to get this stuff every visit, so he gave me a cystoscopy without the proper numbing agents. What a racket. The office manager would scream at patients in the waiting room until she was red in the face. Nasty, nasty office help. I've never seen anything like those people. They also charged me an "administrative fee" every procedure but wouldn't explain what that was, only that my insurance wouldn't pay it, so I had to. Then they claimed to no longer accept my insurance and left me stranded without a doctor just prior to one of my routine cancer exams. Awful place. Look elsewhere. No compassion here.
I met Dr Skinner at Bethesda East hospital after being admitted. He is so kind and professional. He asked me probing questions. He didnt make assumptions like other doctors that previously treated me for the same condition. Dr Skinner answered all my questions and gave me multiple solutions. We decided the best one for me and I couldn't be happier. Almost two years of suffering and finally a doctor who cares. l recommend him to everyone. His office staff is also very courteous. I am forever grateful to have met them.
I have been seeing Dr. Skinner of Urology Center of South Florida for about three years. I had a scheduled six month appointment today. I received an e mail , a text and a phone call all to remind me of this appointment, I traveled to Boynton Beach from Delray Beach and when I checked in at the window, I was told that they no longer accept United Healthcare insurance but I could pay $105.00 if I wished to see the doctor. I refused and will find a new doctor. With all the pre-appointment contacts they made to ensure that you would show up on time, you might expect that they would mention the change. Obviously this practice considers that their time is so much more valuable than mine.
My husband had cancer surgery on his bladder. Dr Skinner was one of the surgeons. We were told the cancer was removed. A couple of months after surgery he developed lumps on his abdomen. And was in severe pain. Dr Skinner told him to walk a mile a day and gave him mild pain killers. We insisted on another visit. Dr Biase immediately sent him for a scan. The result was that my husband had stage four metastatic cancer. They think the surgery allowed the cancer to escape his bladder. Maybe if they had found it sooner he would be alive today. Get a few opinions and no to Dr Skinner
Excellent treatment and very compassionate. I would highly recommend him
I am deleting my previous review, as I have found that the Dr. I rated 1 star was not Dr Skinner, whom I met yesterday at my follow up appt. Dr. Skinner is a very nice man, and definitely is not the man whom I mentioned in my initial review. Dr. Skinner is quite nice, and with my surgery over now, I feel great, and definitely would recommend Dr Skinner to all. My apologies to all for my mistake.
Pleasant experience, nice staff.
The office staff was very professional, respectful and friendly. Sophie, Dr skinner’s nurse is a hoot and a pleasure. Dr. Skinner is soft spoken and a answered my questions. I had a very good experience all around. I will be returning and recommend this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
