Maybe the doctors are nice but I can never get past the rude scheduling department I had so many problems trying to make appointments that I gave up will find a better doctor's office
Absolutely horrible practice and experience. I was looking for a primary care physician group a bit closer to my house. I called, three times (this should have been my first clue of how bad this would be) to make a new patient appointment. When I was finally able to make one, I asked how much the cost was. No one would tell me, but said 'we take your insurance so it should be covered.' It was not. They charge $240+ for a new patient appointment (outrageous as all that was done was to have my blood pressure taken), for which I had to pay 75%. I met with Dr. Cassidy Scott who was so rude and abrasive that I actually made a comment to her when I was there. I have never been so offended by a medical practitioner. After the appointment, I immediately called Cooper Medical to share my experience and to delete my patient account. I was promised someone would call me back. No one did. I called twice more to discuss my experience and never received a call back. Completely unprofessional practice.

Nice and friendly definitely not what the negative reviews say. Stacey was great and offered me explanations.
I recently called Cooper Medical to establish care as a new patient. I was informed that unless I have traditional insurance coverage, they would not accept me as a patient. I explained that I have a health indemnity plan that pays benefits directly to me, and that I always pay my physicians up front prior to services being rendered. I have never been denied medical services before and have consistently met my financial obligations responsibly. Unfortunately, I was told this would not be accepted. I respect that every practice has its own policies, but it was disappointing to be declined despite being willing and able to pay in full at the time of service. For patients who carry alternative coverage or prefer self-pay arrangements, you may want to confirm their policy before scheduling.
I called to try and establish a general practice appointment, the lady told me they dont accept my insurance without even asking what insurance I have, then come to find out they do accept it, then said the soonest appointment is september, its feburary. so your telling me you dont have an appointment for 7 months at your facility? She just seemed like she didnt want to be bothered at the moment.
This place came highly recommended. But now I'm recommending you go somewhere else. They are completely incompetent in communication and they are snobby. They rescheduled my husband's appointment without calling or confirming and when you call to ask what happened they give you nothing but attitude. My husband is supposed to get his PSA checked every 6 months and this time around the doctor said they do whatever year which is not true. My husband has a history in the family of prostate cancer which should come first in their priorities. Wrong! They don't even take the time to explain anything to him. They just want to throw medicine at him left and right. When I called explaining how unhappy we were the girl seemed like she didn't care and I told her to remove us from the schedule and she did not hesitate and then hung up on me. I think it's completely disrespectful. If you want to be treated nicely go somewhere else cuz this place is not it.
You cannot get an appointment with a provider at their offices for less than 6 months out as a new patient even when they are your listed PCP on an HMO plan and you tell them you are having a medical issue. Scheduling department needs some training in customer service based on our experience and it appears others looking at the reviews.
Scheduling department very rude and inconsiderate and they will hang up on you if you ask to many questions speaks very low volume of what kind of people these people are please avoid them and their waiting room smells like rotten milk i recommend another doctor office

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
