List of Fabian Ramos's Reviews
A patient always has a choice in declining a medical treatment. This “dr” abruptly stopped a medication that is the only thing that helps for my muscle spasms. Without knowing what type of metal I have in my back, he ordered an MRI and told me I had no choice but to get his nerve blocking injection without even knowing what my spine and condition truly was. When he told me I must have the injection, I pointed out that the paperwork I signed said I would CONSIDER treatment modalities. As a healthcare professional myself I found his mannerism disgusting and despicable. To have a physician disregard my intelligence and my body autonomy is beyond words. Funny enough when I went to get the imaging done, I had a good conversation with the medical staff about how unprofessional and horrible the Ramos clinic is. Needless to say I won’t be letting the Ramos clinic anywhere NEAR my back nor would I trust Ramos to do any injections on me or anyone I love. Be advised. *Update: After picking up a copy of my imaging results I’m not surprised to find that Ramos was wrong about there being any disc compression causing the pain in my back. He would’ve done an injection anyways. Gross.
Dr. Danielle Babb was wonderful. She was the most kind, informative and compassionate doctor I’ve ever dealt with. I find most doctors make feel like a Number on a checklist quickly trying to scoot me out & on to the next patient. That was not the case here- I was SO scared and she talked me through everything, helped keep me calm & when I wasn’t able to stay calm she helped me back to a calm state. She was so compassionate and it made the whole experience better. Super thankful to have had Dr Danielle Babb work with me. It makes a huge difference when you feel like the doctor genuinely cares.
Terrible customer service
There website is listed open time is 9 a.m..but schedule my appointment at 8.15.....so i arrived at 9..thinking they messed up my time and drove over an hour just for them to tell me i missed my appointment....not cool...un professional....i will never come here again
I was referred from Bay Pines VA Hospital to receive treatment for my lower back pain. I thought that since this was a community care appointment that I would receive better treatment, rather than going to the VA Hospital in St. Petersburg. The Ramos Center in Bradenton is the most horrible medical treatment I have ever received. The only time I received a phone call was to remind me of my appointment. I never received any follow up calls and even after I followed up myself, I still never received a follow up call for treatment. I had an MRI done last Friday and I didn't even receive a call for the results. And, I also never received a phone call after having an outpatient procedure done on April 19, 2022. I also left a message for the office manager to follow-up on my complaint and I never received a call from her. I can see that my medical care needs are not being handled from the Ramos Center in Bradenton and I will have to call the Community Care department to see if they can send me somewhere else, because my medical treatment is below satisfactory.
I was in need of a prescription which was about to expire. Normally the office would send the script electronically to the pharmacist. My appt was on 12/23/21 with a refill date of 12/29. On 12/28, I contacted the pharmacy and they had not received a new script. I called the office numerous times with no results. Only received one call back. As of 4:04 pm on Wednesday the 29th, still no results. My name is David Clark and date of birth is 12/7/50.
For the most part the staff is friendly. Doctors, nurses. PA, are knowledgeable. The billing department is severely rude and unprofessional. Gives off the feeling that they only treat you for the money and not for the sake of healing. They talk to you like trash and tell you what you should be doing.
Dr. Amen and the staff are absolutely priceless wonderful people very professional I was just extremely comfortable and will continue to be
I have been seeing Dr. Ramos and his associate Nurse Practitioner Janine for at least 8 years now. Janine is knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. I have numerous health problems and she tackles them all head on, making adjustments when necessary. I know I am in the best hands. I don't know where I would be without the team at their office. The office staff is kind, compassionate and efficient. The girls that deal with the medications and refills, Beverly and Andrea are always informed and kind. I have never gone without my meds, thanks to these two angels. You should at least go for a consult. They have so different ways to deal with pain, there's no reason to suffer.
I recently had severe nerve pain in my leg--could'nt walk and was in pain standing or sitting begging for some relief... They tried one shot but it didn't work so they sent me home to wait TWO more weeks I was screaming into pillows and crying every day I also live alone so it was very difficult to gat to bathroom or kitchen. I had medical transport to dr but had to gat wheelchair to get in I was told I needed to make arrangement for my own chair as theirs wasn't to leave building like I had one. I will never go to this office again I feel like I was treated very poorly with no compassion for the pain I was in

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
