Dr Gretz is the whole package. He is kind caring has a wonderful personality and bedside manner and is a terrific doctor. He explained everything to me and did so at a level that made it very understandable.....

Today was my 3rd visit with Dr. GRETZ in the past 212 years. He is exceptional Very thorough in his explanations very patient with my many questions and not intimidating or patronizing like some doctors. His Lakewood Ranch Building 2 office was well organized and spotless and his nurse very proficient.

Dr. Gretz was easy to talk to about my issues. He listened to me and was very knowledgeable. The appointment was not rushed. I was very comfortable. He took the time to explain every step of my treatment. I never felt rushed. I have been to lots of gastroenterologist throughout my lifetime. My first impression was great and I am still happy with his services I would recommend him to others.

My husband and I have been very pleased with Dr. Gretz.

I highly recommend Dr. Gretz. I saw him in his office and then for a colonoscopy. He was very professional very personable and kind. I felt that he was totally focused on my health and the procedure I needed. This is a doctor who really does care about his patients. A +

Had a similar experience to the person hat said he had no eye contact etc. since I gave a serious liver disorder I need someone who I can talk to. This guy is not that person.

Wow. I have NEVER written a review on any business before but after this experience with this practice Intercoastal medical group Gastroenterology I feel compelled to do so. My first experience with this practice I was set up with a nurse practitioner who prescribed me a maximum dose of a very powerful and dangerous medication instead of starting at a low dosage and gradually working my way up. I started having horrendous side effects and called the office several times and could not get answers or a return phone call. I ended up in the ER. My follow up appointment was scheduled with an actual doctor as the nurse practitioner apparently fled the practice with no warning and I had to wait nearly two months for my new doctor. I have a toddler that I trucked through the rain to get inside the building for my appointment only to be told my appointment was the day prior which is not true because while on the phone making the appointment I was simultaneously marking the date in my calendar and set a reminder on my phone. I would not have scheduled the appointment for the day that they claime because I had previous obligations. I have never been so disappointed in a practice. Stay far away.. I’d give a zero star if that was an option. All they did was cost me an $800 emergency room visit I still have the symptoms and no results.

I have been diagnosed with IBD and Dr. Gretz has done a phenomenal job of keeping me healthy. He responds to phone calls rapidly and takes the time in the room to make sure you are taken care of.

My husband needed a colonoscopy. Set up a pre procedure office appointment.At the very least expected to meet with an ARNP if not Dr Gretz himself.Only saw his “nurse”. Day of procedure came in introduced himself and asked if any questions? The fact that myself and husband are nurses are irrelevant to the fact that he delegated informed consent to his “ nurse “ a medical assistant Unacceptable.

Elected to spend his time speaking about his disdan of Trump. Not sure what made him decide to do that?? He then proceeded to spend less time listening to my symptoms. I ended up in the hospital two months later with a partial bowel obstruction. Totally avoid this doctor
