List of Kinnari P Desai's Reviews
Terrible reviews on other platforms I’d search the other reviews before thinking this is a 5 star place. Really bad reviews elsewhere
Don't waste your time. Front office staff was unpleasant before and after my visit. Both ladies appeared unhappy, aggreviated, and unwelcoming. Dr. Desai is rude and sarcastic. Made me feel that my issue was not a big deal and gave no recommendations on a possible resolution. She did make sure to promote birth control and obviously seemed to be bothered with me not wanting to take it, especially when she stood up to walk out, leaned towards me, and stated "Good luck not getting pregnant". Extremely rude and unnecessary comment.
Dr Desai very knowledgeable and caring. Focused on on long standing problem I have and offered immediate and effective solutions. Great communications. Really like that I was able to get Ultra sounds, mammograms and procedures done in same location .
Argumentative about my past history. Felt like I had no choice but to get a “routine “ EKG.
Very easy to talk to!
I am so happy that I found Dr. Desai! She is smart, professional, & I feel like she's really engaged in my health and wellness. I've had some gyn issues for years that other doctors have sort of brushed off - and at the very first meeting with Dr. Desai she said "Let's figure out what's going on!". Other reviews have commented about appointments feeling rushed but the reality is most doctors are really busy and know how frustrated patients get when they have to spend a long time in the waiting room -- so doctors have to keep things moving along. I am respectful of Dr. Desai's time - but have never felt rushed. She takes the time to explain test results and is absolutely happy to answer whatever questions I have. I think she's wonderful. And the front office staff and medical assistants are courteous and professional, too. Overall, I think this is a great ob/gyn practice.
This was my first visit at this clinic. Instead of establishing a relationship with her patients, Dr. Desai relies on her aid to go through medical history. I didn't have one on one time with my doctor, the aid was always by her side. Without warning or without asking if it was OK, the aid also attended the exam, which I felt was very unusual and impersonal, I had never experienced that in over 30 years of going to a gynecologist. I've always had one on one time with my Doctor. Upon an ultra-sound and a one time event, Dr. Desai promptly scheduled an invasive surgery, which she said could be cancelled if the symptoms went away. Upon cancelling, I received a rude note from the scheduling staff, saying that cancer was not something to take lightly. Dr. Desai never mentioned anything about cancer, no tests were performed beside an ultra-sound. I was baffled at the whole thing. If you're looking for a factory line assembly experience with your care giver, this is the place for you.
I felt like I was being cheated. I was told it’s consolation for my procedure, but turned out to be just another 10m exam with an hour wait. Things I wanted ask she just said ask my coordinator, she looked in really hurry too. Her coordinator was gone to her lunch. Few days later she called asking for 1300 down pay(After insurance) ... at this point I’m not sure if my expensive Procedure really neede... decide to shop around the doctor with the price I am paying.
Dr. Desai was always a concerned physician and I was pleased with her services. The office is the worse I have ever experienced. They are confused, nasty, arrogant and above all else, unable to honestly file insurance claims. They pad claims filing for the same procedure called multi-coding. When inquiring, I got such backpedaling like they were talking to an idiot. I can not imagine I was singled out. This has to be general office practice. I also agree with above statement that procedures are done without any concern to insurance coverage or patient approval. I would give this office a zero as I won’t recommend the office to anyone. Sadly, I would recommend Dr. Desai. Likewise, her office colleague is one of the most tactless practitioners I ever had the displeasure to meet as well.
I would not recommend going to this office! I did like Dr Desai but the office staff were horrible. I had to wait both visits over an hour without anyone acknowledging me. They never greet you when you walk in which sets the tone in how you will be treated. Communication is lacking and very unsympathetic. I really like Dr Desai which is a shame, she is not the issue here but the final straw was when the scheduler Melissa attacked me verbally when I disagreed and wanted her to call back the insurance company to verify payment for a procedure I was about to have. She cut me off and practically told me I didn’t know what I was talking about because with her 35 years experience she obviously knew more than me or the insurance company. I fled out of the building in tears because this office treat me so bad and cared zero for what I was going through in the past month. I thought the patient was supposed to be first. I have a friend that’s a nurse also that had to leave due to the office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
