Had back surgery with Dr Tally and he did something wrong, as the pain is worse than it was. Supposed to handle fixing the nerve, and it worked for a few months, pain is worse now than it was, SO SORRY I WENT TO HIM AT ALL
I have treated with Dr. Tally since 2017. He's the best neurosurgeon I've seen! He has the best bedside manner, in his office and the surgery center. He clearly explains all issues going on. He's not looking to just do a surgery, he will discourage it if he does not feel it will help. I highly recommend him
I will only see Dr Tally he has done a back and a neck surgery on me. I am able to walk because of him. I have a life because of him.
Dr Tally was there for me after I suffered a TBI in May, 2018. I think he is hugely responsible for my complete recuperation. He is the most honest, forthright, waste no time, get to the solution doctor I have. Dr Tally is an amazing physician who cares about the positive outcome with his guidance and caring insight.
Dr . Tally is a bully and frightens the staff ( bedside nursing) into silence rather than being an advocate for the patent. The patient suffers for his lack of communication and families are left fearing for the safety of their loved ones ...
In August of 2019 Dr. Philip Tally performed a corpectomy on my wife. We were told the surgery went well by Dr. Tally. Unfortunately, the paid did not go away. We went back for follow exams several times. Each time we got new X-Rays and were told “It will just take a while until the benefits of the surgery are realized”. We were told this could take up to a year. It has not been 13 months since her surgery and she has never been in more pain. Her tingling is worse then ever and she is losing more strength in her arms. She was told by Dr. Tally to get more X-Rays with different views. She did this and had the results sent to the office. The office has had the results for over a week and we were told Dr. Tally has not reviewed them yet. Every time we call we are told he is in surgery and he will review the results when we has time. Choose a doctor who doesn’t overbook themselves and follows up when tests are received back.
Staff is incredibly rude, I will never go back! If I could rate this 0 starts i would!
Dr Tally is one of the best, most caring doctors. My husband had back surgery yesterday. Thanks to Dr Tally, I always knew what was going on and never had a question after talking with him about the procedure and during recovery. I am very thankful we went to see him.
Dr Tally has been absolutely awesome with my surgery.
New to Florida- I had laminectomy surgery about five years ago in N.Y. With time I had gotten back into shape and was feeling great. We are now "snow-birds", and are spending more time in Florida, where we now are. We were food shopping three weeks ago, and, against my wife's advice, I lifted three cartons of bottled water and set them down when getting home. The next morning I was, literally, in tears, caused by very excruciating pain. I had again injured my back. Being "New to Florida", I had no idea where to go for medical care. A neighbor told us about Blake Memorial Hosp. How very fortunate for me. At Blake Memorial, I was put in the care of Philip Tally, M.D., God, I was blessed. DR. Tally patiently explained my situation and my options: I needed L3-L4 Laminectomy with Foraminotomy. DR. Tally was very compassionate and very reassuring, which greatly eased my mind-an an important part of the healing proses. The surgery went very well. Just ten days after surgery I am slowly getting around on my own and making good progress. The nursing care at Blake Memorial was the BEST I have ever experienced, and believe me, I've had my share of hospital visits. I am very thankful to DR. Blake and the nursing staff at the Blake Memorial Hospital. Thank you so very much.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
