I feel very fortunate in having had Dr Gonzalez and his team perform an urgent kidney stone procedure. His patience in answering my questions and time he took explaining what to expect helped ease my mind. The procedure went as smooth as expected. My post recovery was rapid and practically painless and, best of all I was able to travel for my big sister’s 80th birthday!

Imagine searching for a top urologist in the area and getting your hopes up to resolve your medical needs and all that comes out of it is disappointment across the board. Driving over two hours for Dr. Ricardo González was more than a complete waste of time. Not only was I greeted with an egoistic approach on the pain I was feeling but I also was blamed for my critical condition from this so called medical professional. He had horrible bedside manner and rather than having patience to listen to my symptoms talking to a brick wall had more empathy than him. To the American Board of Urologist who provide him with his medical license, please consider stripping his license away. Individuals like him should not be doctors. If I could give him zero stars I would. Worst experience ever. STAY AWAY!!! Unless you’re comfortable being yelled to “GET OUT”from someone who’s suppose to help you don’t come here. After telling me that he could not help me with my issue he offered no resources and tonality turned to being outright rude. Trust me this is not the doctor you want to go to if you have a little bit of hope. He will strip it away immediately.

He genuinely cared about me as a person and what was best for me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who was in need of a good urologist.I have a lot of respect for him.

Dr. Gonzalez is very informative , and takes the time to explain any questions you may have.

after relocating from New York to Flordia I did not know what to expect when choosing Dr G as my doctor !!! But I have to say the choice was the correct one !!! He is probably the BEST pick for the care I need in the urology department !!! very caring very thoughtful very thorough and very easy to talk to !!! I have recommended him to many of my friends and I know of at least three (3) that have switched to him !!!

I have seen Dr. Gonzalez many times over the course of several years. His care has been nothing but first class. He is highly knowledgeable in his field and always does his job with the utmost professionalism. I’ve never felt rushed in his office. He is always willing to take as much time as needed to answer my questions thoroughly. Dr. Gonzalez is the only urologist I would see in the Sarasota area.

Dr. Gonzales is excellent, very professional. Answer all my questions and explain everything after my test and surgery. Good listener, I will recommended to my family and friends.
