Most courteous, efficient professional compassionate and complete Care by all of the staff. My visit was pleasant everybody's courteous polite and respectful. Couldn't ask for a better facility especially for a doctor. You can't go wrong with coastal my doctor's awesome all of my doctors are awesome from optimum at Bayshore gardens all the way to Dr Shafer and all of the staff and the doctor that I saw again today, I have been blessed with the best of medical Care!

Not much room for improvement as I received great attention all the way through my first visit from check in to check out.Dr. Schafer was excellent. He provided the best way to manage my pain and next steps for treatment if necessary. From by-passing an MRI consult/visit (saving me $$) should I need to have an MRI to great footnotes as to where I should go for an MRI.I also love the fact that your waiting room is not a cattle call as I have experienced with facilities.CO's website was tremendously helpful in many ways: (1) finding a specialist. The doctor's videos provided a great way to meet the doctor and see their bed side manner (2) your website breaths CO's mission - providing ultimate care... (3) your website is very engaging and educational via various blogs. It provided all the necessary info and more for me to make a sound decision.CO is definitely worth the drive from Sarasota for the professional and attentive care received.Thank you!

I can't say enough great things about the professional employees of Coastal Orthopedics. As a patient and community individual, I've never been more impressed by any other practice for the quality of service they provide, kindness, and respect for their patients. Starting from the minute you walk into the patient's lobby / front desk to the nurses, Xray Tech, MRI department all the way to the bottom of the management and doctors. Yes, I said to the bottom, because these doctors and managers put their employees first to ensure they are equipped, trained, and educated to provide stellar service to every patient that walks through their doors, regardless of location is visiting. Called up Coastal Orthopedics after a visit to the ER for acute knee pain. Called at 8:00 am the next day for an appointment. I was surprised as a new patient that they were able to squeeze me in. I advised them of my knee issue and the hospital that had taken the xrays. I saw Dr. Schafer and he reviewed my xrays and gave me several options. He was able to relieve the swelling and pain right away. I felt 100% better the next day. I would recommend Dr Schafer and Coastal Orthopedics to anyone in need of a caring and professional practice such as this one.

Dr. Schafer is one of the great doctors in this practice. Their level of professionalism and ease of addressing problems is what I would wish for at all of my medical providers. I was able to book an appointment at a time that suited me, take care of online paperwork prior to the visit, meet with a staff that was ready for me and had read my case prior to my visit, see Dr. Schafter, and get all of my care in one place.
