List of Suguna R Kona's Reviews
Only been a patient for 4 months and I'll be getting a new doctor, I've been waiting for months for referrals always excuses why they haven't been sent in now I'm being punished because of appointment changes, I was taking off certain medications I've been on for years. Don't let the pretty smiles of the office fool you.
She is available 24/7 at phone # given to all patients. Tells us to call with any issues or questions Testing and orders appropriate. Also works with info from my VA doctor
This office is a joke. Who makes a pregnant person wait 6 months to be seen. Don’t waste your time. Go to another office who will work with you.
Granted I’ve only seen Dr. Kona 2-3 times over the last 3 years. I did have every other month virtual appointments to get prescription refills. The calls lasted between 1-3 minutes and cost me $114 out of pocket as I don’t have insurance. Upon going to pick up my latest script I’m told they no longer accept self pay and could only stay with them if I have insurance. Is my $114 not worth their time? Are they charging outrageous amounts to insurance companies. I was told I would be getting a blood test scheduled during my next appointment. However, it seems they don’t care about my health. Why would a Doctor care about anyone’s health. Instead, they want to bill insurance companies. The $114 for 3 minutes of a phone call just wasn’t enough. I’m not asking for free service. Refusing to accept someone as a patient who is willing to pay for health care should be illegal.
UPDATE: I'm sorry to say that after being a patient of Dr Kona's for a year I must revise my original review. I was constantly being harassed to take a plethora of unnecessary tests. In addition, although I explained that I had severe reactions to certain medications, the PA kept insisting that I should start taking them, nevertheless. When I refused, explaining that it was my body and I would be the one too suffer the negative consequences if I took these medications, I was summarily asked to leave the practice. I'm in relatively good health for my age and I was absolutely appalled by this total disregard and lack of understanding what I was trying to convey.
She is the best. Very knowledgeable and listens to what i have to say. She has helped me out tremendously. She is highly recommended if you want the best. The office csn be contacted 24/7 for emergencies. The RN and staff are fantastic and very helpful.
Dismissive, rude, interrupts, does not listen, does not do a thorough exam, does not provide a referral, refuses to treat serious conditions, repeatedly attempts to prescribe inappropriate medications. Do not waste your time with this quack!
I am an adult with autism. Dr. Kona has provided me with great care, always taking her time to explain everything and makes sure I get everything that I need. Her office staff also is kind and efficient.
She gets no stars!! She is rude, uncaring, don't know how to speak to people.its her way or no way!! I left that office after she basically dismissed me cause she didn't know what in the world she was talking about and I spoke up for myself and she didn't like it.its hott as he'll in the office. No air the staff is rude also.the whole place is unprofessional.I wouldn't recommend her to anyone I love.or my pet.
Called to see if accepting new patients and Will told me they were. Started to get all of my info and set up appointment but once he saw I was in their system because I used to go to another Dr in their group that has too many patients and I can't get into anymore it changed to him needing to have the Dr review my record to see if I would be a "good fit" for her practice. Never heard this before and was stumped. Will said he would call me that afternoon or the next business day to let me know and never heard from him again. I did not bother to call again because this "good fit" thing seems so weird and I am just going to to keep looking for a different primary care Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
