He has an excellent bedside manner. Honest doctor that explains things to you in detail and goes over with you images of MRI explaining in detail your cervical spine and the rest of your spine. I went to see him because of mild disc herniation of my neck.

Dr. Samad is very professional, caring and a skilled Ortho Surgeon, he cares about his patients and responds very thoroughly and highly educates his patients, on all possible outcomes with the surgery needed. He also has the patients best interests at heart. I am very pleased to have had, Dr. Samad perform my cervical surgery, it was a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Dr. Samad! Thank you!!

Dr. Samad performed a surgery under workman’s comp on my neck in 2020 after a bad workplace accident. My initial opinion was that he took time to explain the seriousness of the injury, how he would perform the surgery and how long it would take to recover. After the surgery, I continued to see Dr. Samad for follow up care. I also continued to have headaches sometimes severe. I also continued to have pain from the neck, that radiated down the shoulder and into the arm, causing numbness and tingling from the shoulder to the hand. In 2021, Dr. Samad claimed I had another disc that was protruding but wasn’t bad enough that work comp would cover it. Also that I would need a second surgery called an adjacent segment surgery within 5 years. I assumed he was speaking of the disc we spoke about previously. I recently seen Dr. Samad again and advised him that the pain was a little worse than the year before. This time he basically forgot what he told me before and denied what he said before and basically told me, the pain I had was just something I would have to live with. After Dr. Samad performed the surgery and I came to him for one of the last follow up meetings, he gave me a 7% disability rating. Although, I still was in serious pain and according to him, I still had a disc injury in my neck. I want to be clear and state, at first visit, Dr. Samad is great at everything but it seems that after the surgery the attitude is, “well I’ll listen to the person but I’m no longer interested in their pain.” Other than that, he’s a great surgeon I suppose. But he needs to take the follow up pain more seriously.
