I had to cancel twice giving them a week’s notice because of weather in New York and driving to Florida was just not going to happen When I got to Florida I called to reschedule my appointment the receptionist could not make an appointment for me stating I had an outstanding copay ($10.00) ten dollars and could not make an appointment till this was paid I headed right over to the Doctors office to pay my outstanding copay of TEN DOLLARS so I could make an appointment. When called to make an appointment they say they are no longer taking my insurance which was and is a lie.I have 2 girlfriends with the same insurances and they are seeing the Doctor. Not only was I going through an emotional time in my Life but for TEN DOLLARS. Really I would not recognize this office as they seem to be money hungry instead of the patients well being

Dr. Suarez is an amazing caring and attentive Doctor. The only negative reviews are people who are not his patient. I moved to another city and drive to see him. I am not willing to jeopardize my sanity switching doctors.

Dr. Amado Suarez is the best! I just love him to death! He's kind, polite and he is a great listener! I highly recommend him!

Best PSYCHIATRIC, my mom has seen Dr Suarez for 10 years, she has not been to a Hospital or a crisis center since she started seeing Dr Suarez . We drive 1 hour to see the Dr twice a year and we will. Keep seeing him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Suarez for over 20 years. Before I found him, I saw five other psychiatrists. Dr. Suarez is by far the most caring and professional doctor of them all. He listens well and is objective and kind. He listens to my concerns about treatment and we mutually make decisions about my care. I was self- pay for years and would not change.

He charges the $100 after a phone call even after the patient says he can not afford the pay since they don’t accept his insurance. That is why he did not go to the office. So if he didn’t go to his office cause he couldn’t pay what makes you think a phone call would make him able to suddenly pay!

After over 10 years of searching for the right doctor for me, I found Dr. Suarez; and I have been a patient of his for over 3 years. He is understanding and has helped me to grow emotionally, socially, and mentally.

Charging $100 out of pocket to do a video chat rather than come in in the midst of the coronavirus. Seems they would want to do a video chat for everybody for their own safety. However, you need to come up with $100 personally. Won’t be covered by insurance. If you want to do a video chat for your appointment. Those that don’t have $100 must come in and potentially exposed himself to the coronavirus. Not to mention the fact that people are going to be short on money in the midst of this. Seems like a way to take it vantage of the public. I just don’t understand why they’re not protecting their own safety as well as the people that work there?

Wants patients to pay $100 out of pocket to do a video chat rather than an in person appointment during coronavirus outbreak. Doesn’t make sense to me that the doctor wouldn’t be interested in protecting his own staff as well as patients during this time. Seems to me making somebody pay $100 out of pocket for a video chat in the middle of this virus when everyone is recommended to stay away from other people is a bit crazy. Now more than ever is not the time for medical professionals to take advantage of their patients.
