List of Andrea Chamberlain's Reviews
She put my kid on meds And my X-wife was on the zoom call with her with in 30mins she put her on 2 more meds. I have been calling and calling to find out why she feels my 13 year needs to be on all the meds
She doesn’t use medications that cause weight gain - I am finally starting to lose weight now after years of seeing other mental health providers.
I finally got a diagnosis that truly made sense after over 20 years of seeing other providers!
Dr Chamberlain rarely talks and asks you what you would like to do. The last time I had an appointment with her she told me because I had been on a lot of meds to “do some research and let me know what you’d like to try!” I sat there in shock (telehealth call) not saying anything and finally she mentioned a med that I have never heard of and prescribed 3 months worth of meds that I had never taken before costing $300.00! The absolute worst doctor I have ever had. Plus you can never get in touch with snyone! Terrible. I have bipolar ll and am not being medicated bc nothing worked so far and she is not helping me.
I've been seeing Dr. Chamberlain for about 7 years now. She is an amazing doctor. Unlike most psychiatrists she doesn't rush you out of the office and she will listen to you. She answers any and all questions and respects the fact when you've been treated for so many years previously, that you do know what you're talking about. She doesn't give you additional drugs just to hide symptoms from current medications. She is amazing at balancing patients and I have friends that I referred who also love her. She is worth waiting in line if you come as a walking but it is best to make an appointment. If a medication adjustment is necessary she will gradually get you on it so you don't have any major symptoms that you have to deal with for a few weeks. She is an amazing woman both professionally and personally. I can't stress enough what an amazing doctor this is and you would be very fortunate if she was accepting new patients.
Not sure if there has been a staff change but my experience receiving the call back was great, which is very different than most of the reviews I see.. Call back the next day from Amanda, she was very friendly and helpful and booked my first appointment. I'll follow up with my experience with the doctor later.
No return phone calls. Why would you want a doctor like that?
She is an awesome doctor. I really like her as a doctor. However, if you need any assistance you can forget it. Basically, you are on your own if you need refills or anything because if ahe has office no one calls you back. And if she is truly a one man show and does everything, then, she doesn't care about her patients because she doesn't return messages. I have left 3 messages about needing to make an appointment and a change of insurance and mediation refills and no one had returned my calls. Very bad follow-up. I really liked seeing her but I have to find a new doctor since no one has the decency to call back.
I’ve seen Dr Chamberlain for years. I don’t understand the bad reviews. She is very flexible and accommodating. She does help many people, I don’t see that as a bad thing. I’ve never had a long wait time. Either with scheduling appointments or lobby time. However, I make appointments. It seems unreasonable to expect short wait times with walk in appointments. It is very nice of her to even do that. Wait your turn. I guess everywhere you go has bad reviews. I love her as a psychiatrist. Things change over the years and we have been able to assess and treat them quickly. Maybe the bad reviews are from people who need a counselor instead/also. She is a psychiatrist. I’ve never had one that talks to you for long periods of time. That’s a different specialty. She is very good at what she does. She can efficiently diagnose and treat in a “short” period of time. She takes the time necessary to resolve. If we say “see you in three months” obviously I can come sooner if there is a problem.
Because Dr. Chamberlain has been through two residency programs I trust her judgment more than other doctors. She has always given me the best advice relating to psychiatric problems in the context of medical issues. The office is good but nowhere is perfect, and the office manager recently had some health problems, but I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
