Excellent customer service. Everyone was courteous and kind including the greeters at the front door. Very organized I was impressed and would highly recommend to anyone. My provider Dr. Maxson took his time to explain everything including review of my images.
Dr. Maxson performed total knee replacement on my right leg in November of 2020. I am walking without pain and so thrilled with the results. Even my follow up appointments are never rushed. I highly recommend Dr Maxson.
This guys a clown. O you will be great after we put 2 screws and a plate in ur wrist and we’ll have u outer here with no pain which is a total lie. I woke up during surgery several times in agonizing pain. I still have horrific dreams of the surgery. My wrist is still painful after 6 months.
Dr. Maxson performed total knee replacement left knee in September 2020. My situation is a little unique because I have cerebral palsy and use a walker so my legs dont completely straighten and knees bow inward. Dr. Maxson took this into account when installing the replacement hardware and didnt overcorrect the angles. His goal was for my legs to be able to function much as they did before the onset of arthritis. He did a fantastic job and helped me accept realistic expectations given my disability. Recovery probably took longer than the average ablebodied 53yearold but as of this writing I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Its been seven weeks since surgery Im walking slowly and pain level is 0 to 3. Every day gets a little better. My only complaint is the checkin process. They ask redundant questions every time about prescriptions and medical history. Ive answered the same questions several times and its getting irritating. I blame Florida Orthopaedic Institute not Dr. Maxon.
Doctor and staff are excellent. The office is furthest from the entrance. On the first visit this was the longest distance using a walker. On the second visit this was the longest distance using a cane. The bathrooms are back by the entrance.
I had a severe break in my leg where Dr. Maxson had to reattach my foot to my ankle. Thanks to him and his team I will be able to walk again. The staff is exceptional and very caring. I would highly recommend Florida Orthopedic.
On August 7 2020 I had a total Hip Replacement. From my first visit with Dr. Maxson to my recent follow up visit after surgery with Dr Maxson has been nothing less than professional and Caring. His total care team of Office staff Hospital and Home Care professionals began the moment I arrived at the Hospital for surgery and continued to the end of my home care as scheduled. Without Hesitate I would recommenced Dr Maxson as your surgeon and Florida Orthopedic Institute as your Total Care Center. Respectfully Walter Hunziker.

Great doctor with a sense of humor. Probably like best is that he is not always in a hurry.
87 yearold motherinlaw broke femur near hip. We met after emergency room admitted mom. Very clear thorough explanation of repair of injury prior to surgery. He answered her questions and chatted with her to ensure she was calm and ready. Post surgery he spoke with my husband and me to give report. Very compassionate and comforting. Visited mom the next day and we talked about follow up. Wonderful experience for such a frightening event.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
