Bipul Roy's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Roy is very compassionate, has a good bed side manner, explains the conditions to the patients, very knowledgable .

My boyfriend has him. We like him n he’s very friendly n knowledgeable

Dr. Roy is an arrogant bugger who is better suited to treating snakes. His office staff acts as they walk on water and what they say should never be questioned. He is fast on ordering tests that have nothing to do with your condition and his treatment plan buggered up my normally normal high blood pressure. Thank God, my primary physician was able to correct it and I'm back to normal. I'm seeking a cardiologist that speaks and understands English when spoken.

On 6/17/2020, I went to see Bipul Roy for the first time ever. I have been experiencing very high BP of 180-190/110-120's. I have been having bad headaches for days at a time, some chest pain on occasion, and general shortness of breath. I had all my blood work done prior to going to his office, and delivered them, but he was not much interested. So, this man comes in the room with quite frankly a God/Napoleon complex rushing to get to the next conquest. He did not take a moment to review my file, but what’s much worse, is that he simply would not let me explain what I'm feeling nor what's going on. I could not finish a sentence without his inattentive interruption, speaking over me stating things that simply were not part of the reason for my visit. A cardiac patient is already at great risk, but when trusted into an emotional event because of his unwillingness to hear/listen to his patient, his dismissive behavior may cause a death. "VERY BAD SO CALLED DOCTOR"!!!

Mr. Bipul Roy is one of the worst doctors that I have ever been treated by, and in my opinion does not deserve the title Doctor. He is so smug, and does not let the patient talk. He is a man of many words, completely ignorant, and the kind of a person that should consider doing some kind of behind the scene work, and not talk with patients. He's young and dumb, and whatever smarts he may have does not across when he speaks. As I said before, he speaks many words, but most of what he says is guessing, wrong, and/or low hanging fruit kind of stuff.... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR SEE ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!

He is really condescending and does not appear to care for the patient. He asks you questions and interrupts you in the middle of your response. He put me on medication that made me lose weight, after months of successfully losing weight. He denied that the medication would do that, despite that fact that Mayo clinic calls it out as a potential side effect. Then he chided my because I kept taking it. I had to call him out on his lack of basic etiquette and respect, I will not have a little putz 30 years my junior talking down to me. To get even, he prescribed another medication, when I got home and researched it, it was the only medication in that class that was worse for causing weight gain. I would avoid him. As far as the practice goes, be careful as they milk your insurance (and you for co-pays). I had to travel 45 minutes from my work for a meeting to get the results of a test, only to find out that it was negative. They could have told me everything was ok over the phone

His staff is nasty & once you meet him, you can see why. They act just like him. For a Dr dealing with the heart, he has NONE.

Dr. Bipul Roy is an excellent doctor and very sympathetic. He doesn't scare you by jargon rather try to explain the the issue and possible remediation. He also gives different options for treatment is possible. I will always go back to him whenever needed.
