Great eye care

been going since I was a kid, when I was able to get on my own insurance they were able to work with me for the best price. very friendly always love going here, I now live an hour away and I still won't go anywhere else

I went to Bloomingdale Eye Care the middle of March, through my Company, to order prescribed safety glasses...It's mid July now and havent heard anything from them about my glasses. Consequently; two other employees from my company went in April to get glasses and have received them.

Been going here for a few years now. Both doctors are very knowledgeable and kind. They helped me redeem a rebate for my contacts as well which was super helpful.

The doctor is fantastic and took the time to educate me on things that no other eye doctor has in my last 10 years of getting yearly vision exams. Very informative, patient, and kind. Overall, very helpful

BEST OF SEVEN MEDICAL FACILITIES I received excellent emergency care from the doctor and staff of Bloomingdale Eye Care on August 17, 2023. I have been a patient there for well over 10 years. This is my first review for them. Rather than a regularly scheduled appointment, on the morning of August 17 I was in an emergency situation. I called when they first opened and was seen an hour later. The doctor reviewed the details and background of my situation and then examined my eyes. As a result I was given a treatment plan and scheduled to return in about a week. Later on the August 17 the same day I wanted to ask the doctor a question. I thought the staff would relay my question to the doctor and the staff would call me back. But what actually happened is when I called, I talked to doctor. I was impressed. The cost for my visit was surprisingly low, certainly lower than I expected for an emergency appointment that was not on their schedule. Within the past month I have dealt with a hospital, its ER and as a short-stay patient, two primary care offices, a walk-in clinic, a specialized medical clinic, and Bloomingdale Eye Care. While I generally received excellent care from the other medical facilities, the best overall place that helped me was Bloomingdale Eye Care due to the highest quality of every detail of Bloomingdale Eye Care’s operations. Five stars with many thanks!

They gave me the wrong prescription. When I tried to get them fixed they told me they had it right and I just need to get used to the new glasses.

Super nice people, always has a great selection of frames. Been going to here for over 10 years. The doctor's are very professional and nice.

I have been coming here since 2005, so almost 20 years. I have never had a bad experience. They caught my retinal detachment early and the specialist they sent me to said I was lucky. I did not require surgery, but what I did have done was not fun. My whole family sees them and love them. I have many eye problems and they are always been on top of taking care of my eyes.

I was looking for an eye care business that was more personal than places like Eyeglass World where every time you go there, there is another new doctor. Well, let's just say I would rather go to Eyeglass World, and that is not a positive thing to say! Dr. Ron Simeon, was the most condescending person I have ever dealt with during an exam. He talks so unbelievably fast, and he criticized absolutely every practice I had when it came to my eye care. He literally had nothing positive to say, and he made me feel as if I had been living under a rock and had zero knowledge of how to properly care for my eyes. I completely understand that doctors need to be honest and upfront with their patients, but use tact, decorum, and kindness. He apparently failed that course in his training. The girl that helped me with my insurance benefits for contacts was super helpful and nice, but Dr. Ron Simeon was just a complete ass. I have to go back to get my prescription, and once I get it, I'm out! I will order my contacts elsewhere because his prices are ridiculously high, and I will absolutely never return! Consider somewhere else for your eye care, because he is out to prove something and no one needs to be talked to like I was talked to by him!
