Dr Samy did a wonderful job. My vision has vastly improved. My wife had her cataracts removed by another surgeon with less than stellar results. Dr Samy was informative about the procedure and the results were as expected. Highly recommend him.

Wonderful experience with both doctor and staff. For a laugh we had a dry run. The day of my procedure doc came in just moments before surgery and said the machine had a malfunction and he couldn’t do the job. My comment was “just count this as a dry run”. Received a call the following day asking if I was available for the following week. Everyone was so apologetic for something they and no control over. Thanks doc and staff, going back in two weeks for the other eye.

HAD SURGERY SIX WEEK AGO. LEFT EYE SEVERELY SWOLLEN AND RED. PAIN CONTINUES TIL TODAY. OFFICE STAFF UNPROFESSIONAL. VERY APATHETIC ABOUT MY PAIN AND DISCOMORT.

My opinon choose another doctor. I have cateracts. After my regular optometrist told me in january that it was time for surgery. I started my research. Online had good reviews. My daughter knew someone that went to him with success. And i was out of time. I work on computers with excel spreadsheets and lots of reading required that i now had trouble doing. So in April 2018, i decided to do it. The wait time in the brandon office is 1 to 2 hours. The tech said things like i think times 60 on this machine. The surgery coordinator was rude and talked down to me but the doctor was recommended and seemed knowledgable so it did it. He wanted to do my eyes separately and my better right eye first. The day before the surgery. I could squint and barely read. Now that the surgey is complete. I CANT read a single word on a computer. a spreadsheet, book, i cant even read a menu. After numerous visits. He told me i had 3 options. He could cut my eye again. I could get readers or he could make me a appointment for his bldg optomist. I went through all that and read worse now than before ne did my surgery. I will go elsewhere to get the othet eye done. Not to the him. The florida eyecare specialist. Formally brandon eye care. My opinion. Stay very far away from dr. Samy and this place.......
