Dr. Dastgir is a wonderful doctor. I’ve been his patient for about 12 years and cannot say enough good things about him. He is compassionate, professional, respectful and very very knowledgeable. I feel safe in his care and I know he cares about me and my health.

Dr. Dastgir was so kind and willing to answer any questions I had. The staff at the surgery center was amazing. The staff for Dr. Dastgir on the other hand seems a bit disorganized. It took 4 months to successfully get an appointment. Paperwork was not input 2x’s and then scheduled appt wasn’t in the books - and they squeezed me in to make the original date happen.

I highly recommend Dr. Dastgir. I have had three colonoscopies without sedation, so I asked not to be sedated for this one also. Dr. Gastgir was gentle and I was able to watch the procedure on the screen and ask questions which he kindly answered. I will certainly ask for him again in five years.

During procedures in a hospital setting, he always says " Hello" before the procedure and talks to you afterward in clear concise language . He is always polite to the nurses and staff which is important to make you feel that he is unhurried and the team is cohesive.

I was having issues with my old gastroenterologist so I switched to Dr. Dastgir. Best decision I ever made. Got an appointment pretty quick and Dr. Dastgir not only listened to me, but he also examined me; something my old doctor never did in several years. Dr. Dastgir diagnosed me and we came up with a treatment plan. Dr. Dastgir also performed an Endoscopy and it went perfectly. Brandon Surgery Center is great. I would highly recommend Dr. Dastgir!
