Terrible Con exepcion de 2 ò 3 muchachas todas las demas no les 8mporta el tiempo que un ok este esperando... hoy la muchacha del front desk rsquupo dos personas que estamos ya esperando cuando llego este señor y ella lo atendio al momento.... no fuimos las unicas otra paciente estaba ya anotada y llego otra señora se anotò y la llamaron a ella antes de la que ya estaba anotada. Me quedo por que no es la primera vez que esto ocurre... entonces cuando vas para el tratamiento las enfermeras se dan su puesto caminando pariba y pabajo y haciendo esperar como si no fuera suficiente el estar 4 o 5 horas aquì... hoy es mi ultimo tratamiento si es que voy a necesitar mas creo que me cambiarè para Moffit para ver si tienen mejor servicio que en este lugar...

I was referred to Florida Cancer Specialists because of low Iron.  I  arrived early for my appointment then sat and waited.   Took almost an hour after my appointment time to be called.  Then had blood drawn and put in an exam room after about 20 min a nurse practitioner came in to go over the questions I filled out on the 16 page questionnaire I filled out.  She was in the room for all of 5 minutes.  Waited another 20 minutes until the doctor came in.  He confirmed low blood iron and set me up for infusions for the next 4 weeks.  I went to checkout to pay my balance and I paid the total they told me.  Came in the next week for my first treatment and had to wait 1 12 hours before finally getting my hour long treatment with and appointment  at that time I asked if there was a less busy time to come and the nurse said yes and said she would change my appointments.  That day took 3 hours for a one hour treatment and when I checked out again I paid my bill in full and they gave me my new appointments but skipped the next week and told me a nurse would call me the next day to give me my appointment time.  Next day the nurse calls to say they are overbooked for the next week and I asked about the appointment I already had and she said it was no longer available.  Next day I get an email from my insurance that a bill was processed and it turns out that the nurse practitioner submitted a bill for over $400.  I am on a high deductible plan and was not expecting this extra bill also I had paid in full the bill presented me.  I called Florida cancer specialists right away and was told no bill was showing in their system.  Then yesterday I received a text message saying I owed $330.  I called and after spending over an hour and several phone calls I was told they charged me incorrectly on my initial visit and that I owed the money.   Dont trust these people

As a patient I have never had any significant issues while at FCS. Before I started treatment Dr. Shah spent about 45 minutes with us going though everything. The nurses are hardworking and caring hardly taking time to eat lunch and go pee. I am guessing people are complaining about waiting because the people they are waiting for are so busy helping other people. Tuesday and Thursday are the busiest days so I recommend calling on other days. I know everyone wants to be helped immediately but I can guarantee when I REALLY needed immediate help due to reactions to chemo they were right there helping me. I was never treated rudely in fact I was encouraged whenever depression or anxiety set in.

I’m giving this place a one star I wish I can give a negative review the ladies at the front desk are so rude and disrespectful is unacceptable. They are sick patients here and the front desk treats them like trash. I have been coming here for two years with my son and the staff changed about a year ago and I can’t believe the people at the front desk are still employed also the girl taking the temperature at the front door needs an attitude adjustment. I will be looking for a new place to take my son

Avoid this place find a office that respects your time. They either over book or the providers do not show up on time for their appointments. In the almostv2 years we have been coming to this place we have always had to wait over an hour past our appointment time to even be called in the back and then we wait another hour before someone comes in the room. Go to Moffitt or find a smaller practice where they respect your time

This group of people are always polite and professional. They will take the time and have patience to answer questions.
