List of George Dermarkar's Reviews
Years of experience as a patient have proven positive. He is knowledgeable, friendly and experienced.
Incredibly rude and unprofessional doctor and staff. Their only concern is money. Doctor seems to have dementia as he never remembers who I am or why I'm there. I always have to refresh his memory. He seems unsure of his treatment plan. I will never refer anyone to his antiquated, dysfunctional office.
entire staff, except oncology nurse, is unprofessional and ride. Annie is uneducated, and clueless regarding insurance. She is a smoker and sits outside the front door smoking. Keep in mind, this doctor treats lung cancer patients. This seems incredibly disrespectful to these patients. Doctor never seems to know why I'm there. I always have to remind him. Receptionist is childish an lacks fro t desk skills. She is constantly asking for money but can never tell me what the payment is for. She just says because Annie said so. Oncology nurse is very skilled and professional. Louise knows much more than doctor. I doubt she'll stay there much longer.
From the start of chemo he has been very questionable about the diagnosis and treating it. We did 6mo chemo, pet was clear and tumor markers were absolutely perfect at 6mo check up; But yet he suggested 2 more months of chemo and all of a sudden told his pt. "Stage 4 "? Why? If the Md has clearly told this pt. It was gone from the other test he reviewed?? Something isn't right with that entire office except for 1 person, the oncology nurse. Also, it's very apparent it's more about the mighty dollar than the patients, their treatment and overall well being. That's a HUGE issue!
Very nice doctor but not sure of the necessity of chemo. Staff unprofessional.
He was very friendly and informative. He knows what he is talking about.
The oncology nurse was great. The doctor dismissed patient without receiving pathology report from surgery just because patient didn't feel additional chemo was needed. As a doctor, especially a specialist, I feel he should have reassured the patient, ordered the pathology, and requested a follow-up appointment. It felt like he was more interested in the mighty dollar than the patient. During treatment, I also felt like he was a little unsure of what should be done--not assure of himself and what is needed. I will say the Oncology nurse was great and very compassionate.
This office is terrible and the staff, well let's just say they are extremely unprofessional to say the least. Annie is the worst here and very unprofessional. Very dirty as well.
This doctor really cares about his patients. He goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and cared for.
Both his staff and the doctor made rude comments about my "Obamacare" insurance. He is on their plan but told me that I had to pay for a year of treatment up-front before he would start my chemo. He wanted me to pay him $100,000 before he would start treating me for cancer. His staff is rude and disorganized, a reflection of their boss. Go elsewhere. He's all about money and doesn't care one bit about his patients health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
