List of Hany Mikhail's Reviews
I was Baker Acted for severe anxiety and suicidal ideation, transported to HCA Florida West Tampa for 5 days. He appeared once a day for 2-3 minutes to wake me up, take my vitals, and tell me what medications he is prescribing. I was never heard; it seemed like I was just another 'crazy' in his calendar. It was dehumanizing. After discharge, I went home and started seeing a therapist and psychiatrist, both of whom were shocked at the medication and dosage he prescribed. According to them, the medication he prescribed was irrelevant to my condition, evidence of his lack of concern over me as a patient. I just recieved a bill - 5 months later - of $700 for his "services." I can deal with the bill. But the patronizing approach he took in the physician-patient relationship attests to the dire situation of mental healthcare in this country.
I do not know what happened but he and his staff have drastically gone downhill. They won't treat my ADHD because I am on disability.
Excellent bedside manner. Psychiatry involves many difficult issues and he has no air of judgment and invites questions.
Doesn't listen. Rushes you out.
I found my visits with Dr. Botros are very calming and reassuring to my general health and mental health. He listens, observes, treats his patients with respect and genuinely display a profound sense of empathy. Truly a breath of fresh air in a day and age when patient's are hurried through bustling busy Dr.'s offices. Please note my visits with Dr. Botros were in a hospital setting.
Dr. Botros has been my dr for several years, kind, listens and attentive. His staff of well qualified PA's assist with patients. Diana is great with me, very helpful, attentive & kind. Scheduling is strict and difficult to get fit in for emergencies, so keep your appt time. Because of the nature of Psychiatry, dealing with problem patients & drug abusers they have a strict office policy which most offices sadly must employ, which includes drug testing.
Dr. Botros is a friendly and involved doctor. I have had NO problems with his staff. I have had several appointments and have had absolutely NO problems. Treatment is good and insight is outstanding.
I have seen him many years! In the last 3 years its been hell to get in with him the front desk girls are VERY NASTY TO PATIENTS. THE doctor is unaware or too busy for concern on how they treat patients. They change the person that sees you everytime abd change meds monthly messing you up mentally
The most inconsiderate, condescending, charges you for never seeing you.
Part 2. His staff claims I missed a visit which is a total joke. His staff told me I needed to pay up before I made an appointment. I am now on 5 days without the medication they specifically say not to just stop taking. I am definitely complaining to my insurance provider and I encourage you to do the same.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
