In Soon Park's Online Review Report Card

I had a ruptured bowel in 2005. I came into the er at Brandon hospital. My mom said he worked on me for 11 hours. I ended up with a bag for 6 months. Having Dr. Park through the entire process made it bearable. He was both professional and compassionate. He was my angel when I needed one.

Dr. Park is an incredibly skilled and experienced Colorectal surgeon. He successfully treated my complex condition, which was no easy feat. He takes the time to answer your questions and manages expectations by giving honest and realistic expected outcomes. His offices are impeccably clean and his team is fantastic. Everyone in the office is friendly, accommodating and compassionate. Dr. Park gave me my life back and it's a blessing I will be forever grateful for. I fully trust and highly recommend Dr. Park.

I came in through the e.r. Dr. Park was very straightforward, courteous, and patient with me. I needed to have my gallbladder removed and I asked to postpone one day due to nerves because of blood thinners and past surgery experience. Very easy surgery for me thanks to Dr. Park.

Comes off as uncaring. Bad bedside manner. I was crying from a very painful internal exam and he said nothing; didn’t even offer me a tissue. He actually scoffed at me when I was discussing my problem.

Dr Park is the absolute best surgeon I have ever experienced. He explains in detail what’s going on and quick to react if anything needs to be fixed . Amazing ! So thankful for him .

Had to wait 4 weeks, cash patient, 1st appointment was changed and I didn't know it, lost $1,000 in income, was early for 2nd appointment and still had to wait 1 hour. Doctor rushed through visit. No hand shake, no real talk beforehand, the first thing he got to see, was me half naked on the table. I came for hemorrhoid binding, and he talked me out of it, and talk me into hemorrhoidectomy. Then went back to binding. Left clueless and agreed to surgery. Found out at home that binding would work.

It was a breeze! Dr. Park performed an outpatient surgical procedure to remove a small benign mass in my left forearm. He was very professional and put me at ease, explaining each step as he went along. He told me the hardest part would be the local anesthetic that burns a bit when injected and I felt a little discomfort. But after that I pretty much kept eyes closed, he did his thing and kept talking to me, reassuring me and asking me if I felt any pain which I did not and it was over! Very ;-)

Excellent surgeon, very professional and informative. It's sad to see that some people "ding" the doctor/ surgeon for having to wait, but if I'm the one on the table please take the time you need to operate on me or my loved ones. I think we forget that there are other actual people in the world and the human body in a state of illness does not operate the same for everyone nor does it know that it was supposed to either heal quick or die quick so that appointment times can be met. I am thankful he took such good care of my child. And no I couldn't tell you if he was late or early all I know is that he did his best and she is better because of it.
