Dr Barrios can or will not answer questions regarding patient’s care. His fragile ego can’t handle someone asking questions or seeking clarification. He does not communicate, is unaware of test results or just doesn’t care- when he does respond - it’s incorrect. If you value your health and well being - see another doctor.

Terrible experience. Barrios was assigned by Humana to my father at Plaza West. He knew nothing of my father or his medical history over the last 2 months. Barrios was extremely defensive when I asked him questions about my father's care and course of treatment. He hung up the phone on me. He was very, very unprofessional. Zero bedside manner.

I saw Dr Barrios at South Bay Hospital - in addition to being hospitable in demeanor; he was right on top of my medical record and became quite involved in helping me reach a decision for my continuing care WITH ANOTER PHYSICIAN!! Trustworthy, Medically more than competent, Personable - EASY to HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

He almost killed me. I was in the hospital with afib and sustained tachycardia. He walked in my room and started yelling at me. He said I wasn’t in a hotel. I was in a hospital. He ran out of my room and went down the hall and started shouting at my daughter who was sitting in a chair praying for my survival. He told her I was not a candidate for any surgery. Thank God for my cardiologists. I was transferred to another hospital and underwent an ablation and received a pacemaker. Both my daughter and I were in tears before that “so called” doctor was finished with us. Stay away from him. He is dangerous.

Getting billed from him regarding my surgery at South Bay Hospital. I have no idea who this person is. I have no idea why I'm getting billed. Status said consulting. I asked my orthopedic Dr who said no one was consulted. The PA had written all of my orders! No answers

Had to wait over a month to get an appointment. The doctor was not personable, didn't ask me a single question about my symptoms, he walked into the room with a diagnosis already based on an audiogram (I went in for ear pain), gave me multiple potential causes without addressing any of them, I literally sat in his presence for 2 minutes. Wasted an expensive copay on him just to have to go to another ENT to get a 2nd opinion (or a 1st one really).
