Juan Socas's Online Review Report Card

This was my 2nd cancer removal surgery with Dr Socas. He is great! He takes as much time as you need to talk. His whole team is fabulous as well from the reception to his assistant. I have not had one issue with anyone. They have been extremely compassionate, accommodating and actually cared about my concerns and feelings. I am quite the cryer, but Jenn and his assistant really made me feel better. Rock On Dr Socas!!!! Keep the music going....(K. Madden)

I have seen a lot of doctors over the years (for various issues) and am very picky when it comes to who I work with. From the very 1st visit, Dr Socas and his nurse, Jenn, made me feel very comfortable. He took the time to answer every question I had prior to my surgery. As is the norm for me, I had some complications post surgery (wounds not healing well). Dr Socas took the time to revise the incisions and keep me from having to go for a 2nd surgery. He has a very calm demeanor and is very skilled with what he does. I automatically felt comfortable with him and I would 100% recommend him. My one criticism is that his staff (outside of his surgical PA, Sara, resident, Taylor, and his nurse, Jenn) is not the best but I am not there for his office staff. He is a phenomenal surgeon and I am grateful that I was referred to him.

Nurse practitioner was alright. Didn't seem to know much. And this place is HORRIBLE about answering phones.

He is by far the best plastic surgeon you will ever meet. Trust me when i tell you that he exceeds experience and is extremely great in his craft. I have never had a problem with him. Your in great hands. Trust him! I have meet several plastic surgeons and they like doing what they want. Socas only does what you want and has no problem adjusting to your individual reqiest. Top that off he is extremely patient and quiet but aren’t intelligent people? Trust me your in great hands. Love love love his work and his staff.

I am so disappointed. I finally screw up the nerve to see Dr. Socas about a problem that is seriously affecting my life and I get completely ghosted. I attended an appointment for an initial consult, went to the referral for urologist as instructed, and haven't heard a peep since. I have called and left messages numerous times. Last Friday I finally got through to someone who recommended that I make another appointment. I have called 3 times for scheduling this week and have not gotten a response whatsoever. I don't know if they are too busy or just don't want my case. Either way I give up.

I am so disappointed. Went for my consult, went to the referral, and never heard a word. Called at least a dozen times left about half a dozen messages over about a months period to no avail. Could not get a simple call back from someone who could help me. I will not return.

Dr. Socas and his staff were great! They took excellent care of me during my procedure. Dr Socas is very kind, care and professional. He made me feel very comfortable all the time. He did an amazing job. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Socas performed plastic surgeryon my son. He accidentally compromised a catheter to a piece of equipment that regulates medecine inside my son's body. He explained to me what happened and how he fixed it. This compromise has caused 2 over doses to my son in 11 months. When trying to find help for my son and explaining to various doctor what has happened. I have had no luck come to find out Dr. Sosa explained in the surgery report a total different conclusion to how.he fixed my son's catheter. I have been unable to find my son the help he needs because of the false report.

Dr. Socas was recommended to me by my insurance, sadly after months of back-and-forth they were unwilling to help me with the appeal process leaving me starting over at square one elsewhere. His office staff are very rude and unhelpful. If you have a timeline for your surgery or prefer calls being returned, I would consider another surgeon.
