Dr. De Castro has practices that show no empathy or compassion. I arrived 7 minutes late because of traffic and office location misunderstanding. I called to make them aware that I was going to be a few minutes late before my scheduled appointment time and was transferred to the front desk where I had to leave a message, which I did. I got there-7 minutes late-and was told she does not see patients late if they are not in the office at the appointment time. I completed the check in process in advance online and told them so. The ladies at the front desk team noted there was more paperwork then what was online. I asked them if they would ask Dr. DeCastro to show some mercy as I had wrong location AND to remind them that I had been trying for months to get this "new patient" appointment. They told me she does not make exceptions. I asked them to request it anyway and to remind her that this appointment was rescheduled by Dr. DeCastro from MARCH when her office called because the

Two dfays prior to my first visit as a new patient, Dr's office calls me to cancel my appointment as Dr. De Castro has a meeting to attend. I made my appointment over two months earlier as I just moved to the area. Needed Rx refills and referral for colonoscopy and other medical needs. Next available date for an appointment was in two months.

Cancelled my appointment last minute, twice. Cannot get hold of the office or staff. I had seizures and need to be checked. I can't sit around waiting for this person to actually keep an appointment.

She did absolutely nothing for my headache. They gave me no blood pressure medications and I left there with a final blood pressure of 212 / 102. She had the audacity to prescribe me something for depression and anxiety when I'm neither depressed or anxious. I just have a horrible headache. Do not let her treat you. Run for your life.

I don't know what the previous person is talking about. This doctor is very knowledgable and very thorough with her exam and work-up. She listened to everything I had to say and spent a lot of time with me unlike other doctors. She was punctual, I didn't have to wait long to be seen by her. It's a shame she had to move, because I can't find a doctor as good as her.

It seemed like her mind was somewhere else during the appointment - it happens. Then, as my condition worsens, I call her office twice and both times leave a message for her to call me back. Twice, she does not return my call. The least her staff could do is warn me that she doesn't return phone calls and prevent me from waiting fruitlessly. Cannot recommend her to anyone as she just doesn't seem to be a "caring" doctor.
