Maria Prieto's Online Review Report Card

I was a patient of Dr. Prieto-Marichal then I switch to Dr. Marichal for the last 10 year. Last week I went to get an injection from her/his staff. They got the medication from me but instead of preparing the injection in front of me they kept me waiting outside and they just ask me to get in to get the injection. I asked to prepare the injection in front of me and the staff refuse. I did not get my injection. This week I went to get the I j3ction and the staff ask me to wait 4 hours to get it. I have been with both Doctors over 20 years. That is no way to treat a loyal patient.

I went to Dr. Preito for many years when she was in the Tampa bay area, I also took all of my children to her as well. Ahe was the absolute best doctor I ever had. She was attentive and really listened to her patients then would either prescribe what it took to fix you up or would send you to a good specialist. Ahe left our area and I missed her greatly, I wish she hadn't but thats life. I wish her and her family the best in her retirement. Thank you for being such an amazing doctor Mrs. Preito.

Terrible service, every single time. Be prepared to wait 2+ hours every time, only to be seen by the doctor for only 2 minutes. Not sure if this is the fault of the receptionist(s) or the doctor herself but completely unacceptable. Literally changing her as my primary after this visit.

Dr. Prieto-Marichal is an excellent doctor, caring, compassionate, listens well. However, her office staff is a disaster, almost impossible to get anyone on the phone, they simply do not answer the phone or just take it off the hook so it sounds buys all the time. Waiting time is really long.

She is just a pill mill, drug pusher and should be incarcerated for making of junkies

I am Dr prieto's patient for 15 Years she is very professional, compassionate and accurate with her diagnostics. I highly Recommend Dr Prieto. I have Multiple Medical Conditions ( Cancer, High blood pressure, Kidney Disease ) and she is handling all this condition very well. Now you understand why she is an excellent Doctor and excellent person

Pain management has become such an outbreak due toi lack of knowladge and or training etc etc by all involved from goverment down to last nurse in an office. I have been on pain meds sincde i was 19 years old and will be fror the rest of my life. yes i hate filling my meds cause of the way things have become but i have no other way. its the only way i can live a somewhat normal life without 24/7 pain that cant be at least controlled. well i will that out of ALL my years of doctors from the milatary to being cop to now almopst haveing tio file dissabilty. dr. Prieto has gotten my pain managed better then any other doctor ive seen. the best partr is she has controlled my pain better then anyone else and i today and on less 1/4 of the meds i ever was at one time. she cares, she listens, she takes her time. most of all SHE KNOWS, SHES VERY EDUCATED and is constantly going to schoo well above the minamum. and not just pain management. she caught my intesten issue and my throat issues before my dang gastro did. when i went to my gastro she even said when she read what doc gave me and said, wow pain doctor doing all this, she must care and shes pretty danbg smart also, she said. so if this was a pill mill, why they still ope, why they have less pataints then ever, why is there no hoodlems outside like at pill mills...why would another doctor say what she said....doc leaves im going with her. im sorry to whoever poosted about this place being a pill mill. my experiance as a cop tells me that you got tossed cause you failed a ua, or soemthing else, meaning your a junkie or seller. its folks like you that make it so bad for us all. its docs like her that toss folks like you that are one person at a time making headway in the field of pain managment and the way its looked at. so that said. rthanks doc, love ya to death, keep on keepen on....thanks for helpen me threw each day feeling better. and to the junkie, get help not another docotr, you need rehab

Excellent and caring doctor. Only qualified patients are seen. Very strict. Will explain to you. Helpful doctor and therapy is also given.
