Marvin Shienbaum's Online Review Report Card

Several years ago, I had scheduled an Otoplasty and Ear Lobe reduction surgery with Dr Sheinbaum. The Otoplasty was performed. The Ear Lobe reduction was not. The Otoplasty was disappointing. Couldn’t hardly tell the difference from the before and after pictures. Have since had the Ear Lobe Reduction performed by a different doctor with an excellent outcome. Would not recommend Dr Sheinbaum for any surgery or procedure based on this experience.

He took advantage of me being young and insecure in my body and I hope he feels good about it because he made a good profit off of my stress and hard earned money. I had bad asymmetrical breasts my whole life and as soon as I turned 18 I ran to him to get them fixed. First thing he did when I came was make fun of my stomach and convinced me I need lipo more than anything, telling me he will transfer the fat into the smaller breast. So I agreed in hopes of it going well, it was $6,000 after all. Then the surgery comes, he barely even touched my breast as it looked literally the SAME and just focused on my stomach more than anything for some weird god knows what reason. But I had hopes and believed him because he is super qualified, good rep, good certification, many years experience, etc. I was young and didn’t know much and just hated my boobs and this man convinced me into a procedure that wasn’t even needed. So a year passes by and I am very unhappy still with my boobs, I saw his implant pictures and lifts and they looked good and from his experience I believed he would actually change my boobs THIS TIME. So he did a lift on the bigger boob and put in saline implants for $10,000. Not only did he do a half ass job, he didn’t even lift the breast and for some reason the nipple is way way bigger now, I thought a lift should make it smaller? He purposely does a half ass job so you come back and “ fix” it so he gets more money. This man is a fraud and karma will get him for taking advantage of young women with insecurities for money, crazy how low professionals stoop to. Just stay away and save your money, believe me on this.

Went in to see about having my implants replaced because it had been 15 years since they were originally done. He told me that there was no need to replace them and suggested that I was the perfect candidate for lipo 360 with fat transfer to my "hip dips". Following the surgery (done at the hospita), I was given very little pain medication and what he did prescribe was basically what you might get following a minor dental procedure. I had to basically beg to get more and I have a high pain tolerance and hate taking any meds. I have huge lines down both of my sides from the cheap, inadequate shaper he provided after surgery, which was too large from the day they put it on. My thighs and backside no longer fit into normal clothing, my stomach is grotesque and he did nothing for my back or love handles. I spent over a year pleading for him to correct the damage that he did and he's done NOTHING to make me normal again. I will never be able to wear a bathing suit, I basically live in dresses and have become depressed and withdrawn. As far as I'm concerned, he has taken my happiness and it cost me nearly $15,000. He refuses to say how much fat was taken out and how much was put in, I came out 12 pounds heavier than I went in and have done nothing but diet trying to shed the fat that he put in my thighs and backside. He's dismissive and cold and does not care about your happiness.

Absolutely Fantastic!! Six weeks ago at the age of 54, I had a Tummy Tuck and a body sculpt. The pain I was expecting to have I didn’t have & didn’t need to take any pain medication.The scar is so minimal and smooth that I really don’t even feel it. I am can’t wait to get my breast procedure done next!! I would totally recommend Dr. Shinbaum to anyone who wants to have any work done!!

Dr. Shienbaum is a very professional and perfectionist doctor. He really wants you to look your best. The staff are unbelievably friendly, sweet and professional too. All together are a perfect team. The pre and post nurses and anesthesiologist were caring and very professional too. Had a great experience with Dr. Shienbaum and all of his staff and would recommend to anyone. Couldn’t have picked a better plastic surgeon.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Shienbaum! He has incredible bedside manner, and his entire staff was so friendly and welcoming. I was nervous in the beginning but everyone was happy to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shienbaum to others.

Dr. S and his staff made me feel and ease from the time I made the consultation through my actual surgery date, they took the time to explain in detail and answered all my questions. My surgery date they were beyond phenomenal, professional and compassionate, I had very little discomfort and I’m please with my results and looking forward too my results after my complete recovery. Dr Sheinbaum and his team are so friendly and accommodating of the needs of the patient. From first consultation to surgery to post op check ups, I always felt that I was in excellent hands. Dr Sheinbaum is a gentle and kind individual with no cocky attitude. He makes you feel comfortable to discuss your insecurities and has options for how to correct the issue(s). Pricing was done on the spot. I opted for a tummy tuck, corset Lipo, arm Lipo, Re-injecting of tummy fat under my eyes and at the hollow of my butt cheeks. It was not cheap but it was a very fair price. I am over the moon about how I look and feel. He does precision work and he is part artist, part surgeon. I am over 50, and my body has NEVER looked this good (even compared to my 20’s). You can bounce a quarter off of my tight, flat stomach. Ripples of muscle are peaking through my abs. As for the surgery process- the worst part for me was the iv. I’m a baby about that. All the rest was easy and relatively pain free. The next day I had some pain but I was given a few pills to combat that. The pain was not nearly as bad as one would think it is. Most of pain for me was the tightness and pulling of the skin. Easy non painful recovery. One thing I was not prepared for was how gory the surgical cut is. It looks really ugly for a few weeks until the scars heal. And every week you will see the scars get progressively better. A new bellybutton needs to be added in this surgery. Instead of my droopy big, sad bellybutton with rolls of skin almost hiding it, now I have a nice, small perfectly round belly button- almost like you would see on a doll. Very youthful look! I love love love the results and have no complaints. He couldn’t have done a better job on me! I highly recommend him for his skill, attitude, reliability and artistry!

Tummy Tuck and Arm Lift I am 7 Days Post Op and I feel good..!! I have had the best experience with Dr.Shienbaum and his Staff. I lost a great amount of weight and was extremely nervous about the recovery process of having my Arms and a Tummy Tuck at the same time. I stayed one night in the hospital and saw the Dr in office the next day! Throughout this process I have been Amazed at how well I have felt! Dr.Shienbaum and the staff made sure I was informed and comfortable every step of the way, I even had a small concern a few days after surgery that was addressed and I was immediately reassured that things were going great! I’m so excited about my progress and I’m only 7 days out... I’m definitely excited and looking forward to everyday on the mend because I can actually move around fairly normal, don’t get me wrong I have had some pain but not like I thought it would be!! I’m happy I had Both surgeries at the same time....Best Decision I’ve made was Choosing Dr.Shienbaum to preform the surgery!!!! Thank you for reading.. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Marvin Shienbaum and his staff! They are all wonderful. Dr. Shienbaum is just so gentle, kind, caring, and he also has a great sense of humor! He made me giggle more than a few times! And I love to laugh! He has the best qualities in a doctor you can possibly look for to feel comfortable and confident! He made me feel so comfortable choosing exactly what I was looking for, and what was right for my body in order to achieve the “natural wanted look”for my breast augmentation. It is just the first day after my Surgury. I couldn’t possibly be more satisfied. They look so natural and so beautiful. Perfect shape and size! No bruising, minimal swelling, minimal pain.
