List of Nancy Ling's Reviews
I had biopsy done on a spot on my leg. When the results came back, Dr. Ling's office called to say I needed surgery to remove a form of skin cancer. The caller made it sound urgent. At the appointment for surgery, when they began to explain the risks, I asked if there were any alternatives, especially considering that that spot on my leg appeared to be healing. Dr. Ling came in the room and said, yes, in these cases it can happen that the problem goes away on its own. Surgery is not needed. We can wait and see. She did not mention this possibility at my previous visit when she did the biopsy. The caller who scheduled the surgery did not indicate any alternative. Just, you need to do this. Yet there was an alternative, one far less invasive, and one that no one ever would have mentioned had I not asked. But I still had to pay a $50 copay, plus whatever they get from my insurance company, for nothing. I complained, but they said what they had done was fair.
I have been going to Dr Ling for over 10 years. She is the best. She had to remove some cancer on my forehead and you cannot even see the scar. I would highly recommend her and her great staff.
I have been seeing Dr Ling for over 10;years. She is the best.
Dr. Ling has such a high level of confidence & expertise that any anxiety you have will melt away. I've been seeing Dr. Ling for about 15 years. On my first visit, she confidently told me she could remove a lesion from my facial area without leaving a scar........and she did just that! (My previous dermatologist had scheduled 2 separate appointments to do this and then finally told me I should see a plastic surgeon.) She's so quick and efficient during procedures, that they're often over before you realize it. I highly recommend her.
Knowledgeable physician; gives a very thorough dermatological exam and evaluation; courteous and professional staff; am always seen on time; staff was able to fit me into the schedule when I had an emergency need.
I was scheduled to be a new patient with Dr. Ling. I waited in the lobby for over an hour and watched EVERYONE get called back except me. When I went to the front desk, the attendant, instead of apologizing, said, “ Well, there are 2 providers.” Then I should have been called back sooner! This was a complete waste of time! I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone!!
She’s kind and gentle and so knowledgeable about skin cancers and procedures. I drive a long way just to see her!
SO much better than the bigger, chain-style dermatologists in the area. Dr. Ling is patient and thorough and retains the empathy that many doctors lose over time. I have never waited longer than 30 minutes or felt like I was being upsold cosmetic extras.
Always a very nice lady along with all her staff and have been visiting her for over a decade now.
We are so disappointed with the medical staff in Dr. LING office. My dad went to the office to verify they take his insurance because he is disabled. They said yes, he made an appointment and completed the new patient form. On the day of the appointment he asked again before being seen if this insurance they take. Well they proceeded to send a $500 bill. My mother called and they told her they don't take our insurance. My mother then asked to speak to the office manager Carol. She was not helpful and repeated it was NOT their fault that they don't take our insurance. My dad told them he can't afford a bill. Now they are calling non-stop and turning us into collections union. The doctor was amazing but we were not allowed to speak to her about this matter!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
