Although I am definitely not an expert on medical proficiency, my experience with Dr. Kumar for my meniscus tear and subsequent partial menisectomy has been excellent. Prior to the surgery, Dr. Kumar took extra time to explain the procedure, the reasoning for the procedure and comparisons to alternatives. This made me very comfortable with the surgery and positive outcome. Within days of the surgery I had full range of motion and will be back on the sand (beach volleyball) very soon! His team at Florida Orthopaedic including Hilary, Jessica and PA Rachel are very friendly and more importantly helpful and responsive. I understand that Dr. Kumar is a regional expert and highly regarded by his peers.

Wow, what can I say! Dr. Kumar and Rachel (PA) operated on my left rotator cuff and bicep in August 2021. Before my surgery and after, I was provided with great care and communication throughout my months of recovery. Dr. Kumar and his physical therapy team has given me back what I lost since my surgery and now I have great mobility and strength and have received clearance to return to the gym. Thank you Dr. Kumar for all you have done for me!

Did my major surgery on my leg,very please with the outcome

Had partial shoulder reconstruction and torn meniscus surgery. Both alleviated the pain and mobility issues. My wife just had rotator cuff surgery. All performed by Dr Kumar. She is a nurse and knows his work from tending to his patients after surgery. Always personable and answers any question, no rushing. Has all prescriptions ready to be filled before surgery so your care giver isn't rushing around filling them after your home from hospital.

I'm not sure how in the world these people had these experiences because my review proves them all to be confused at best. I'm on Medicaid because I was hit by a drunk driver on my motorcycle and I spent the next 3 years suffering in agony searching for anyone willing to do my surgery and I finally found Dr. Kumar who wasn't just willing but has been there in every way possible every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a more patient and understanding doctor

I had knee pain for few weeks, doctor suggested for surgery as I have previous surgery on the that lead to pain. Even no recommendation for PT or no alternate options shared. I ignored doctor recommendation i felt it is not right. Then I tried massage and some stretching's excercises which bring me back to normal in few weeks. If i followed doc recommendation it would have been very expensive effort and time to heal was too long. Also twice my appointment got cancelled last minute and the feedback was given over the phone after several follow ups with doctor office.

Dr Kumar repaired my labrum and performed a biceps tenodesis in October 2020. Prior to the surgery, he explained all options and made me feel comfortable with the process. Surgery went as expected, and I was given full clearance 4 months post surgery.

** due to other negative reviews i didnt even want to schedule this apt. I am so relieved i went. You know for years i have been having hip issues. Literally have paper work to prove it. I hate going to new doctors because in fear of judgment. I went to see dr medina who referred me to dr. Kumar.. one of the best decisions. I have some answers. It Literally has brought me to tears. Office staff was sweet and no long wait times. Ofcourse i completed most paper work online. Dr. Kumar had questions and answer. Great bed side manners. Jokester. I am truly happy.
