Dr. Matthews is the only ophthalmologist I have found that was able to effectively treat my dry condition. I could barely see you when I first met with her. She was pleasant, thorough, and professional. She designed a treatment regimen that worked. I can now see clearly with a minimum of discomfort. I will follow her when she moves her practice to Sarasota.

Had cateracts removed from both eyes and the results were perfect. Am recommending her to all of my friends. Her personaliy is total perfection. Very calming. Now that i have experienced her work i would drive anywhere for her to do surgery on my precious eyes.

Being patient of Dr. Mathews was truly a life changing experience. I have had vision issues most of my life. Dr. Mathews is absolutely amazing. Her and her team took every measure to ensure that everything went beyond well presurgery-during-and post surgery.I wore glasses/contacts for the majority of my life and now I can wake up in the morning without finding a pair of glasses to actually see. I would recommend anyone who has trouble seeing and is interested in Lasik.

Dr. Matthew's removed the cataracts from both of my eyes. One week after the second surgery I have 20/20 vision in both eyes and the world is bright and clear again. I can't say enough about my experience. I highly recommend Dr. Matthew's if you need a specialist eye surgeon.

Dr. Matthews was very competent and confident and made me feel confident as well. She explained how my corneal transplant surgery would proceed and what to expect during and after the procedure.
