Rene Alarcon's Online Review Report Card

Not good. Medical assistants were great. But Dr. argues with you to keep from giving referrals. Even when I had previous test results , that he never addressed, he tried to tell me or they would only want to do surgery. And tried to show me studies that injections into knees don't work. He told me to take aleve, but I'm a heart patient and it is advised that I not take NSAIDs. He even pulled up his pants leg to show me the knee brace he got at walgreens for his osteoarthritis. When I finally got referral, the doc gave surgery as an option, but when I asked to try synvisc and cortisone injections,he sat up a schedule. We were,and are amazed at the improvement. Being a retired nurse, I just told Dr.Alarcon that I want a specialist who can better advise me of my options. He may have been a better doctor at one time, but now needs to retire.

I gave him one star because they would not let me give zero. He is THE absolute worst doctor I have ever encountered! He would yell and tell me it was all in my head. Since that, I obviously have another doctor and have been correctly diagnosed. If you are considering Dr Allercon, run, don’ walk away!

My sister have being with Dr. Alarcon for more than 9 years and all I hear from her is good things about him. So when I needed a Dr. I went to see him and this was the best thing I did. He is very human and answered all the questions I ask. I love the staff who are very professionals and also go more than the 9 yards to help with the appointments and referrals.

Awful doctor, I had a huge bump inside my ear that was very painful, I asked him to look at it and from his seat (which he never got up from) he bluntly told me he was not going to look at it and told me to put clearasil. How easily THESE types of so called doctors earn their money, it's a real shame. Needless to say HE is no longer my doctor.

Hello, my grandma has been going to this clinic since 2010 (7 years) and we have had nothing but good experiences here. Most of the staff are bilingual and helps me out alot since my grandma only speaks spanish and I could only translate so much. Everyone here are very friendly and the negative reviews are confusing. This is a really good clinic and give it a chance, you have to experience it yourself they don't dissapoint.

Don't step into his office!!!!!!!!!! That doctor needs a doctor, to treat him!!!!!!!!!! He needs help on how to be a doctor. That piece of garbage knows he's a BIG TIME IDIOT!!!! GOD willing you... While talking to Nancy Bernhardt, she tells me about her experience her at the Brandon office. My husband John started at this office before me. He enjoyed the staff and atmosphere. Staff always eager to help. I been here for about 5 years. I love the staff and respect the Doctor, very knoledgeble. I will continue to come to this office.

While speaking to the Patient Juana Ramirez, she was telling me that She's been at the Meditech office for two years. She likes the Doctor and the way he values how she feels when she visits and the way He attended her Husband that also is a patient at the office.

If given the chance to be treated by this man or seen by a donkey. Go to the jackass because the donkey doesn't have a med degree yet. The comments about him being argumentive are legitimate. If you ask your doctor a question and you're met with "pay attention and listen" as the answer you're better off just going to a walk in clinic.
