List of Richard Landrigan's Reviews
Pro's- Dr. Landrigan is one of the few Urologist's who use's advanced DNA testing. And will treat you based on the test results (well worth the $200 test cost...insurance or not) Con's- He stabbed me in the back. I needed a referral to see an ID Doctor for IV treatment. He pretended he would but Instead maliciously wrote two terrible clinical notes. He stated he was not a "gatekeeper Doctor" and would not give me a referral because of "insurance fraud". All this while taking my cash both times (I was a self pay patient). Gatekeeper Doctor?? He WAS my Doctor..... He could'nt just give a referral?? Yet he still took my cash both times. "Insurance Fraud"??? Going to an ID Doctor who participates with my insurance IS NOT Insurance fraud. Not once did his notes address my medical condition. Instead he tried his best to ensure I would not get treated and cured, what kind of Doctor does that?!? Did he forget his hippocratic oath? Doctors are supposed to help their patients, not hurt them. His actions were totally shocking. Luckily I have an awesome PCP who gave me the referral. I saw the wonderful ID Doctor who tested me, treated me and gave me my life back...no thanks to Dr Landrigan.

I wish i could give this office 0 stars! Whoever the office manager is has the professionalism of an ignorant toad and I hate to even low grade a toad like that! Very condescending and rude and once called on it tells you youre being irate and says she's dismissing me as a patient because she made a smart comment that I didn't like.. Poor Dr. probably doesnt even know how she talks to his patients...well former patient since I was dismissed! Ha! A joke! Miserable people are the worst.
I can only give this 2 stars unfortunately. Dr. Landrigan was very helpful with getting my problem resolved. However I was very disappointed with the billing staff that left me to pay $200 out of pocket because they failed to check if the lab was in network. I was told it's my problem and I need to resolve it.
Office manager/receptionist was extremely rude and arrogant on the phone and at appointment visit. She should be terminated. Will not recommend this office to anyone.
Wish it could be a zero stare asked for a sperm sample when couldn't produce and was told it was prostate infection then go to a different doctor and find out it's stage 4 prostate cancer.
Two appointments were very disappointing, On the second visit, he obviously had not read my chart. I found him to be cold and distant with no time for discussing my treatment or alternative treatments that could be employed.
I’ve used him for years and recommend him to everyone. I wasted yrs with other urologist and they didn’t fix me. I’ve had a few surgeries with Dr. Landrigan and he knows what he’s doing and I trust him! He did a surgery for my husband also.
Went into the area requiring surgery through an improper route. Caused a hernia later. Will most likely sue
Called for a new patient appointment and waited 3 weeks only to be called the day before by a nurse from his office cancelling the appointment. The nurse told me that it would be 3 more weeks at the earliest for the doctor to see me. When I told her that that was unacceptable she told me to find another urologist and hung up the phone. I could not believe how rude and unprofessional his office treated me. Avoid this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
