I have been to three different doctors and Dr. Chen is the first doctor that listened, was patience and gentle with my kid, didn't mind answering questions. Overall such a pleasure. Couldn't recommend enough!!

Dr. Chen and her staff are FABULOUS! She’s one of the only doctors that does adult lazy eye surgery in Florida! Right from the start she made me feel comfortable and at ease about my upcoming surgery. She also explained how my right eye didn’t develop properly to become lazy! A very knowledgeable, kind, PATIENT doctor!

Dr. Chen recently treated me by surgically addressing my eye condition. Since I am an older patient, I have been understandably reluctant to seek resolution for this issue. After my consultation with Dr. Chen, I immediately scheduled the surgery. The result has been exactly as she predicted. She is extremely professional, tops in her field, and genuinely a kind and compassionate doctor. I would highly recommend her to any patient in need of her care.

She was really rude to my mom she didn’t answer all of our questions and concerns and also walked out the room to further not answer our questions. Leaving the doctors I still feel a sharp pain in my eye glass got in my eye and she said I didn’t need surgery. I wouldn’t recommend coming to see her in her office. Not happy

Dr. Chen has been my kids eye doctor for years and every time I go it’s a fabulous experience, she’s thorough Dr. Friendly makes the kids feel super comfortable which makes them want to talk to her about how they feel. The staff is also super nice, friendly and professional, it’s so pleasant to go there every year. Maritza front Desk Staff sets the tone with her amazing friendly personality and professional… it’s evident that everyone there love what they do.

Dr chen and her team were so nice. Had to take my 2 year old to see her abd everyone was super nice and really great with my toddler. When she would get upset and scared they pulled out all the stops to make her feel better.

Dr. Chen has an excellent bedside manner and is very knowledgeable in her area of specialty. My daughter is pleased with her recommendations for treatment and feels like she’s in the best hands.

Let me start off by saying that I am a paranoid mother and when it comes to my children I only want the absolute best. My daughter developed a lazy eye around 2 years old and I brought her Dr. Chen. I liked her immediately and so did my daughter. She diagnosed my daughter with intermittent exotropia. A condition that is hereditary in my husband’s family. Eventually Dr. Chen recommended eye muscle surgery. This made me panic. I researched, googled and looked everywhere else for advise. I took my daughter to 2 other doctors for other opinions only to learn that this surgery was very necessary for my 3 year old daughter. We chose Dr. Chen to do the surgery on our daughter because of how well known she is and I really love how she interacted with me and my daughter. She’s amazing. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chen. Last week she preformed muscle surgery on both of my daughters eyes. Regardless of Covid, she let my husband and I both go to the pre op appointment and she spent time discussing everything with us and she answered all of our questions. She let me cry and she understood all of my fears and concerns. The day of surgery she came in and talked to the 3 of us, put us all at ease and let us know as soon as she was done with the surgery she would come let us know. She did exactly that. She told us how our daughter was before she was put under anesthesia and how the surgery went. She called me that night to check on her. 5 days after surgery I was a paranoid mom on a Saturday because of some swelling so I called the office. Dr Chen called me from her home and FaceTimed me to look at my daughters eyes to make sure they were okay and of course they were. Dr. Chen exceeded all of my expectations in a pediatric eye doctor. I would recommend her to any parent. She’s the best. I love her and she will be our child’s doctor for many years to come. Dr Chen is very thorough, very sweet and patient with the little ones. She explains everything well and you can tell she truly cares. We love this office everyone is great and polite!
