List of Scott A. Powell's Reviews
He was absolutely the worst. He overbooks so the wait is long. I went in for ringing in my ears. They did a hearing test and claimed I had hearing loss and would need a hearing aide. They completely disregarded my suggestion that I couldn't hear because I had ringing. He also rushed through my appointment, I think I got 5 minutes of his time. He didn't offer anything except come back next year maybe you will be ready for a hearing aide and shoved a paper in my hands about tinnitus. May I mention here no vitals were taken. I went to my primary care doctor a few weeks later and my blood pressure was high. I was given blood pressure medication and the ringing is getting less. I highly suggest going to another ENT.
First of all he completely overbooks. His office is full of patients. Since they had me waiting over an hour I noticed that almost everyone was there for hearing aides, He graced me with 5 minutes of his time, only telling me I had slight hearing loss, as if they could tell since I had tinnitus since I had water in my ear. Nothing I said would he explore, everything was next year come back and maybe you will need a hearing aide. When I kept asking him questions, I guess my 5 minutes were up so he handed me a piece of paper and said read this. Would not recommend.
Poor bedside manner, talks fast, doesn’t get to know any of his patients, I feel like just a number. The assistant that came in both time didn’t even acknowledge my presence (no smile, eye contact, Nada). I feel so uncomfortable walking back. Tension felt within staff.
Dr. Powell, Jasmin and staff are amazing!! Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. Dr. Explains everything step by step. Very accommodating to your needs. I've been to this office 5 times. Every visit was amazing. Love this office!!😊

Dr. Scott Powell was very thorough and knowledgeable. We were sincerely impressed with the entire professional operation. The office was clean and his staff was also friendly and efficient.I never make recommendations regarding health care; however, I would definitely recommend Dr Powell to anyone in need of an ENT specialist.
Excellent Doctor and his assistant "Jasmin" is wonderful...!! Staff from front to back was so very helpful.
I have had two visits with Dr. Powell. After a 30 minute wait in the main lobby my visit was productive. Much like other reviews he used a camera to look up my nose but told me what he was doing and it cost me over $100 out of pocket. The meds he prescribed are working like a charm. I went back for an allergy test and after 45 minutes after my appointment time I was finally called from the lobby. Appointment went well except apparently I didn't understand the meds I had been taking and had stopped one for the allergy test and I didn't need to stop taking it. My time is also valuable and if I am made to wait 30 minutes or more again I will stop receiving treatment from Dr. Powell.
For years, I chronically lose my voice when I walk into certain facilities or homes. I recorded my voice before entering the office and within 1 min my voice disappeared. I record my voice 30 min after leaving the office and it’s back to normal. I am highly allergic to animals, molds, dust, plants and foods (all tested). He looked at my throat and said I had a gas problem and referred me to a speech therapist for my voice. He also scanned me and said I had a deviated septum which he was quick to schedule for surgery. He does not have a good bedside manner, didn't listen to me, didn’t explain. Just felt like I was a number and not a person. Gave me rx for my stomach problems.
Fantastic

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
