Dr. Sosna unexpectedly delivered my baby when none of my doctors were at the hospital or on call when I went into labor. I was nervous having someone I had never met before, but Dr. Sosna was incredible. She was calm and caring, put me at ease, listened to my birth preferences, and brought the BEST energy to the delivery room. I had an amazing birth experience thanks to her. If I have another baby in the Tampa Bay area, I would definitely consider changing to her practice! Thank you Dr. Sosna!

Had the most positive experience with her today. She’s so nice and makes you feel like she wants to be apart of your journey. I really wish she took my secondary insurance so I could continue to see her. Amazing dr none the less.

Dr. Sosna has been my doctor for over a decade. She’s an amazing professional with great bedside manners. She delivered my first child and recently did my hysterectomy. Not only is she an amazing doctor she is an equally amazing surgeon. She truly cares about you as a patient. I love her and am glad that I found this practice many years ago.

Dr. Sosna delivered my baby and is the best dr. I have ever encountered. She’s brilliant, caring and exceptional. I felt so safe and secure knowing I had such a competent extraordinary Dr. by my side. I can’t say enough for her professionalism! The experience I had was truly a special one because of her. I love this office all the staff the doctors everything. I have never had a single issue with this office and I have had situations where the staff followed up with me about my sons care. I love coming here as a patient. The girls in the office always have a smile on always friendly and never give attitude. I will always recommend them to anyone. I have been coming here every week for my pregnancy due to high risk and every appointment has been on time and a great experience.

Letter that was sent to Bay Area OBGYN today: Hello,​ I am writing today to express my frustration regarding an appointment that I was scheduled for this morning at 8:30 with Dr. Sosna at your Brandon office. I was supposed to have my yearly exam this morning but left because Dr. Sosna was still not at the office after 9:00 am. When I went up to the front desk to inquire as to how much longer it would be, as I have to be at work, the receptionist told me that the Doctor was still not there- she also stated that it is a regular occurrence for Dr. Sosna to be very late. They also asked if, when I made the appointment, if the scheduler told me this. No, they didn't. WHY are you scheduling appointments this early for a Doctor who continually shows up late? If Dr. Sosna does not respect her patients time enough to show up on time each day, then I do not want to be a patient of hers. If you are asking that your patients arrive 15 minutes early out of respect for your office and your doctors, than why can't she? If she was just running late today than that's one thing, but since this is something that happens all of the time, that is NOT okay. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I will not be returning to your practice and I will most definitely deter people from your practice when I am asked for referrals - which is quite a bit as per my profession.

Very disappointed with this Dr. Sosna as she was highly recommended to me. I felt as if she was appeasing tests on me to appease my symptoms .She missed something on one of my test results that another Dr. found important enough to mention to me. She seemed to have difficulty in trying to diagnose my problem and made me feel unimportant. I felt rushed during appointments with her and felt that she was not thorough enough and often did not explain things to me well enough to which I often left her office confused. She was quick and to the point which I was uncomfortable with. As far as the staff is concerned they were mediocre at best. It felt that there was more importance on patients who were pregnant as I especially found out when I had to call after hours. That on call Dr. was extremely rude,condescending and made me feel terrible for calling because I wasn't pregnant. The on call doctor also explained to me that after hour calls emergencies were only for pregnant patients. What are the gynecological patients supposed to do in an emergency? As I was told by the on call doctor to just go to the ER. I never cried so hard after speaking to that on call doctor. I would NEVER recommend this practice of doctors at all. So happy I got a second opinion from a real educated and kind OBGYN.
