List of Armando Sarasua's Reviews
I first went to Dr. James Sarasua after having an episode of Bell's Palsy and very high blood pressure. He was the first doctor to diagnose my diabetes. My first A1c was in the double digits, and he helped me a great deal! Without resorting to medication as the first line of defense, he encouraged me on how to reverse the diabetes and the hypertension with more conservative methods. With his "you can do this" approach, I was very excited to be able to return to him with an A1c no longer in the diabetic zone, my BP back to normal, and a weight loss of 10 lbs. Dr. Sarasua is about getting you back to good health by using the healthiest manners possible.
Same experience as some others had of him not knowing what hes doing and not wanting to be helpful or get you the medication you need. This guy is about as useful as a poop flavored lolly pop and has no business as a janitor at a Dr. office let alone being in care of your well being. Truly it doesn't get any worse or more pathetic than this.
I moved to area about a year ago with several medical issues. Dr Sarasua was thorough, experienced, caring and took the time to question and listen. I was treated for several one time and am currently monitored for two additional conditions. The doctor provides options when appropriate and is always current with new treatments. Very easy to talk to with an excellent and professional unhurried environment. Staff is superior and friendly.
Very indecisive and seemingly unsure of a clear plan of care. He asked me more than once if I was using drugs or abusing alcohol and did drug/alcohol tests as part of my new patient well visit which I thought was weird. He seemed so focused on making sure I wasn't an addict that he couldn't effectively address my concerns. Offensive considering the tests were negative. Apparently I look like a junkie? Answers questions like a politician...like he doesn't want to commit to an answer. Not for me.
Just walked out of his office. He told me I asked too many personal questions. I wanted to know if he was capable in my opinion of handling my problem. very unprofessional!
Do yourself a favor and find another doctor to see. They will tell you one thing when scheduling $30 with my insurance, another when there $72 not covered by my insurance and then bill you for more money $83. Lady at the desk doesn't know anything but maybe her name. Can't answer any questions. I only came in for a prescription for $10 90 day refill generic meds costing me $200 for 20 mins with doctor. Other people there complaining about bill. Called 5 times to get answer about refill.STAY AWAY
I think Dr. Sarasua is awesome. He's so friendly and engaging. I would certainly recommend him to a friend or family member.
Courteous, kind, places you at ease. Listens and attends to your requests as listed. Decisions appear well thought out and you feel involved in the decision making process.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
