List of Azzam Muftah's Reviews
The Dr. Talked & listened to what I had to say and I felt we covered everything. I did not wait long to see Dr. And staff was very efficient. I walked in and out in one short hour. The Dr. Scheduled my tests and they are only a week away not 2 to 3 months away. They do procedures right at their new location on cortez blvd,
I was a patient here and as someone with ulcerative colitis it is important for me to have a gastro doctor I can rely on. I suddenly had a flare and was in desperate need of steroids, when I called I was told suddenly they no longer take my insurance. I was given no forewarning of this, and I was left with no help when I needed it the most. They would not even just send a script to the pharmacy to help until I COULD see a doctor. It was plainly evident there is no willingness to actually help their patient. If your insurance doesn't pay what they feel is enough, you don't exist to this office.
Time for a new doctor. I had an appointment today March 20th at 10:10. Went to the office only to find out they moved to a new location. When I went to the new office, I nicely told the girl I wish they would have told me that they moved when they called me to confirm the appointment. The girl insisted that she told me but believe me she never did. As I was going to sit down in the waiting area, she said loudly so I could hear her that I was a lair to one of the other workers there. I gave her a piece of my mind and left. I will never go back and will be calling WellCare to report her and also ask for a new doctor.
Both my self and my husband have been seeing Dr Muftah for many years. He is a very nice Doctor. Explains everything clearly. Have had procedures without any problems. Easy to talk to and very professional.
I was so nervous and he was so calm . He is great . I would sure recommend him. A good soul
Dr. Muftah and his staff were amazing! My Mom has done 2 colonoscopies at their surgical center and had very positive experience in both. Thanks to all the great staff that was so friendly and helpful. We really appreciate your professionalism and kindness!
Don't try to call this office. Answers and asks if they can put you on hold for a bit. Hung up. Every time I call back I get answering service who gives times to call. Well I am calling during those hours and still get answering service. Need to find another gastroenerologist. This office is terrible.
I guess i'm not the only patient that had a bad experience. I never even met the doctor and I had 3 tests ran and saw the nurse to read the results. They told me first to eat altoids, and the third time stop drinking cold drinks. I thought this was a joke. I walked out.
DANGEROUS. THINKS EVERYONE HAS A GI BLEED. H will waste valuable time for sick people & ALWAYS wants to do expensive, invasive things first. He'll kill you.
I saw Dr Abboud and had a procedure with him recently. As a former Gastroenterology center employee in Savannah Georgia, my eyes were wide open. Dr. Abboud was very professional and thorough. Listened to all of my concerns and questions patiently. The Florida center he uses for colonoscopies was very clean and very friendly and also very professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
