Bayfront Health - Brooksville's Online Review Report Card

I just returned from a 2 night stay at Bayfront Hospital in Brooksville FL and was pleasantly surprised to find they didnt seem to be busy with Covid patients. The staff were a group of professionals who were intent with making the stay as pleasant as possible.The first people I encountered was Nurse Ashley Nurse Kelly Curtis my personal Vampire who draws blood very gently Miss Jay is gentle as well. Then there was Alex Darrel and Miss Alec.Nurses Jessica Sarah Ellen Luvv and others whose names I have forgotten please forgiveme. All professional pleasant and friendly. The food service ladies were equally as pleasant friendly. I was pleased to have Dr. Abraham visit me. a very personable gentleman. Dr. Brooks spent about 2 minutes and left me with questions unanswered he didnt stay long enough for me to ask them.All in all I highly recommend Bayfront Hospital in Brooksville Florida.Thank one and all.Carole M SorvinoOctober 2021

I have to say very much better than usual trement there..Dr Edward Lin was great...best bed side manners...very concerned and caring..very prompt on getting things done and fast...if I have to go back ...I would pray he is the DR in charge...I was very pleased with him and my male nurse...thank you.

The worst hospital that I have ever had the unfortunate pleasure of having to spend time in. Unattentive staff and filthy room. Disgusting

Terrible hospital. My mother was in for an outpatient procedure yesterday which did not go smoothly. No problem there completely understand that some things happen and cant be avoided. They wanted to admit her just so that they could move her to Oak Hill Hospital because Bayfront Brooksville is not equipped to handle the procedure that she was going to need. Still ok so far. The team in outpatientpost op were great. Hannah was so sweet and caring. Tony was a pleasure as well. The problem started as soon as she was admitted to PCU on the 3rd floor. Shelby is supposedly the manager of the PCU unit and was the person who was processing my mothers admission except she NEVER actually did it. This was supposed to be a couple of hours while we waited for a bed to be available at Oak Hill. BUT Bayfront completely dropped the ball. They never finished processing her admission they never even requested the transfer Wendy took over from Shelby and she seemed like she had no idea what was happening or how anything worked. She didnt know anything about the pending transfer or the procedure that mom had done how are you the nurse and you dont know anything about the patient? She came in 3 times and kept forgetting to check her vitals when she said that was what she was there for. After sitting in the room for 24 hours still no transfer and just excuse after excuse from the Bayfront Staff. Also no meds administered at all. No treatment. No care. No doctor visits. NOTHING She finally left AMA. They literally wheeled her out and left her on a bench out front. She is elderly. If this alone does not demonstrate how little they care for their patients I dont know what else will. They didnt even let her sit in the lobby until someone got there to pick her up they literally dropped her at the curb like trash.

From Greg at the front desk Mechala in preop to Linda an outstanding nurse to Marc the anesthesiologist everyone was friendly and very knowledgeable of their job.Could not have asked for better care.

Horrible er experience went in there cause I felt something in my rib pop and they told me to take ibuprofen. What a joke. Then I asked to speak to the er nurse in charge and they said no to call tomorrow.

Only went there for an intake interview and it seemed okay but havent been back since because after covid hit we havent been back

Everyone was super nice when I went to the ER earlier. However Ive been trying for hours to get my test results and they keep telling me to call back later and that they are too busy to check even though I was told to call if I hadnt heard back after 5pm. I wish I knew the name of the woman who answered the phone because she was very rude and treated me like I was dumb.

My husband and I both received the monoclonal antibody infusions. I can’t praise all involved enough for their great care Greg our outpatient registrar and Bill Linda our infusion nurses. They made the time fly We so appreciate our medical folks taking such great care of us and at risk themselves.
