I am writing this review because of the poor, the very poor service at Bravera (Bayfront) Health of Spring Hill. My daughter was sent in to the hospital from a infection disease doctor for very bad infections in her leg. The leg is swollen three times the normal size with very bad infection. The doctor said, she needed to have IVs for the infections and pills would not work. In the hospital they put her through a CAT Scan and stated that she needed a IV doctor once they were able to clear the infection. Then comes along a doctor from Access Health Care Physicians LLC who had nothing to do with her problem. Because her regular physician was not aloud in Bravera Health. This doctor, doctor Ekanayake from Access Health decided my daughter didn't need to be there in Bravera and told the staff to send her home. My daughter filed an appeal and they told her she should stay in the hospital getting the IVs and other medications. When doctor Ekanayake came in Today (Tuesday) morning he was very mad and he had the nurses take off her IVs and take all her medications away plus pain medicine. She is in terrible pain right now. The nurses said they can't give her anything. This doctor has gone against the hospital staff and her infection disease doctor stating that he knows better than anyone. Please be very aware of Access Health Care Physicians LLC and especially this doctor Ekanayake and the hospital Bravera (Bayfront) Health Spring Hill.

He came to the hospital when I was a patient, never met him before and was a complete jerk! Screamed at me,, why are you here? I'm on oxygen, came in at 5 AM. Er dr recommends that I be an in patient. He said there's nothing wrong with your lungs. I said did you look at my ct scan. Never saw him again.

Very thorough, knowledgeable, attentive and professional as is his office staff. My A+ rating.

Great guy. I've never had any issues in dealing with him.

My husband and I both had our wellness check-ups last week. We both had a number of issues we wanted to talk over the Dr. E. He was amazing! He did not rush us through and gave us all the time we needed to get our questions answered and our issues resolved. His staff is also excellent. They are always available by phone to answer our questions and never make us feel like we are bothering them. Plus, we never have to wait more than 5 - 10 minutes to be seen.

I have been a patient of Dr Ekanayake for quite some time now, he and his staff are very caring people. I am very thankful for everything they have done for me with my new cancer diagnosis. Got referrals and appointments ASAP!! The office has provided me with nutritional drink samples all along as I was not able to eat. Cant say enough this office and Doctor. Would highly recommend!!

He is a great doctor, sees his patient in the hospital. Gives referrals when needed. Office staff is friendly and very helpful. Easy to get appointments. Short waiting times
