Staff has always been helpful even when I have to take my dementia wife with me. Never any pressure. Great explanations. I really would benefit from eyelid surgery but being a constant caregiver really doesn't allow me much freedom.They are very kind and understanding. I'm 76 and pleased to have stabile vision. Great clinic.

Starting from the staff in the Reception Area: friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Then the technician did a VERY thorough eye exam, including things I'd never seen before. Then I finally got to meet Dr. J. Like the rest of his staff, he was the consummate professional. For years, I've asked about cataract corrective surgery. This time before I asked, he told me I was a candidate for the procedure, and the procedure has been scheduled. I elected for the more advanced lens, and after speaking to others, feel very good about my choices. This PHYSICIAN is great! I've dealt with others in the medical field. Some I call doctors and some are physicians. Physicians really care about the well-being of the patient, first and foremost. Really looking forward to great vision in the very near future.

Dr. Jachimowicz performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I found him to be carring & friendly yet professional and very thorough. He answered all my questions and explained the procedure and what was to be expected. Dr. J, as he is called, is an easy person to deal with and is very patient which is important. I would recommend anyone who requires eyecare to give Newsom Eye in Brooksville a call. Dr. Jachimowica is fantastic and so were my results!

Just wanted to let you know that because of your receptionist from the 727 area code number, I will not be coming over as a new patient. The whole conversation she spoke to me as if she didn’t want to bother with me. If you want details, feel free to reach out.

Dr. Jachimowicz is an excellent doctor and it is not because of him that I gave only 2 stars. Except for Marie, the receptionist who actually smiled at me, his staff appears non-friendly. After I asked the technician who was assigned to me to please use cleaner on her hands since she had lowered her mask to speak to someone and rubbed and scratched here nose, her whole demeanor toward me changed--abrupt and cold. Checkout was not better. I questioned a form that I had to sign and got it shoved at me in a rude manner. Then that person argued with me over her response. I told her that she was rude and disrespectful. What happened to soothe the customer and the customer is always right. I am in the process of looking for a new eye doctor. Can't stand the atmosphere--so non professional!

Dr. Jachimowicz is a very good Opthalmologist. He recently removed cataracts from both of my eyes. He is extremely knowledgeable, he explains everything and answers all of your questions! His office staff are all very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jachimowicz and Hernando Eye Institute.
