I have been a patient of Dr. Cacioppo for well over 20 years. He is a very knowledgeable and capable opthamologist. Dr. C's tech staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. The admin. staff is efficient and professional. I recently have had two successful cataract surgeries with no complications. You cannot go wrong with Hernando Eye Institute. Highly recommended.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cacioppo for over 10 years. I trust his professional judgment as I am treated for an eye condition which requires a checkup every four months. Dr. Cacioppo has performed surgery successfully for the removal of my cataracts. The staff are very professional and the office is comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Cacioppo.

This was my first experience with an opthamologist in Fl. Dr. Leonard R. Cacioppo, AKA Dr. C was a terrific find. He took the time to listen to me, evaluate my condition and diagnose in 1 visit. He has state of the art equipment. I needed (2) surgeries. Dr.C removed the cataracts and implanted an IOL. No pain whatsoever. Then, Dr C referred me to a Retinal Specialist for my second surgery. The first thing the Retinal surgeon said to me was, Dr C did a perfect job. Thanks Dr C. I’m grateful!
