List of Lingappa Amarchand Md's Reviews
My mother was admitted to Oak Hill Hospital with a UTI and dehydration. While the doctor’s name on her chart was someone else, the only doctor I ever saw after spending 11+ hours a day there was was Dr. Amarchand. He offered no information to our family. I asked about her diagnosis the 2nd day she was there and he said that he would have to look at her chart and never came back. A few days later he came in again. I asked for an update and he replied that he hadn’t seen her in a few days and would have to look at her chart. He never came back. Because of his lack of concern we signed her up for hospice. My husband asked him if we could get a 2nd dose of antibiotics to make sure she is t going to bounce back. He agreed. The next morning we found her Iv fluids removed after not eating for over a week. We inquired and found that he was the reason that fluids were removed…which would be a death sentence. He just didn’t care and did not care for her. Thank God for the nurses.
If you have a few hours to spare then this idiot is your guy. Want help immediately then call anyone else but this all mighty clown
He is the worst doctor on the planet
This faux doctor killed my father years ago, as surely as if he'd put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. For years he treated my Dad saying he was having TIAs and was at risk for a severe stroke. He said that was the reason my Dad fell so often. That didn't make much sense but unfortunately, I didn't question it at the time. When my Dad fell and fractured some vertebrae, I rushed him to the hospital where the ER doctor asked me how long my Father had been suffering from Parkinson's Disease? Whereupon I looked at my watch and said, "about two seconds". He was shocked that no one had told me he had Parkinson's before then as his symptoms were classic and obvious. I asked if his cardiologist would have been able to diagnose his condition. He told me a first year med student would have been able to diagnose him! Because my Dad had gone so long without proper teatment, I lost him only two years later and after much more suffering. I wouldn't take a pet rock to this quack!
He is a quiet doctor you just have to ask questions to and doesn’t like to tell results until he knows for sure what’s going on. He doesn’t want to give false diagnosis.
0 stars. Left in a room At Bayfront Health for 14 hrs, no food or drink allowed not even just a tylenol for headache, nor was I offered my routine Meds!! I dont know how this man has a license. I signed myself out.
Amarchand was my relative's hospitalist at Oak Hill Hospital during summer 2020. From the start, he never cared about my relative’s well-being, was very unprofessional and disrespectful to patient and my family (i.e. 0 bedside manner), was offensive when we asked questions about patient’s care and discharge date and plan (he even barked at me one night when I was trying to get a hold hold of him: "What do you want? I'm on my lunch break.") (among so many other things). He rounded after his practice hours and it was hard to get in touch with. Moved patient to different floors without explaining rationale, including the "prison floor" which landed patient in the ICU and caused further distress. When we did see him, he would pop in and directly out. Took him hours to respond to requests, including getting patient something for pain, nausea, and getting his approval to have a Coke (etc.). Shame on Oak Hill for assigning a cardiologist to someone who did not present cardiology symptoms and for a "medical professional" who cared so little for patient. Never would recommend him and suggest others stay far away.

Is he really a Dr? At hospital for four days still waiting to see him and talk about what test results revealed ???????Worst Dr ever!!
I kept getting worse and worse on his watch. He did nothing but say I’m fine, I’m fine. If he ordered a test he never read it or got back to me not even blood tests. Had I stayed here I would be dead just like two of my neighbors on his watch. Went to another doctor, he immediately put me in the hospital and gave me cardioversion. I now have normal heart rhythm and I’m feeling so much better. This man should not be practicing medicine. There are no words to describe how dangerous it is to be with this doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
