Dr. Hiba is a knowledgeable, compassionate, professional who actually cares about his patients. He has a great personality, listens to his patients, answers all questions, explains in detail your diagnosis, works with you to develop a treatment plan, and makes certain that you understand your diagnosis and treatment. He spends time with all his patients, quality time. He is extremely skilled in all the procedures he preforms. Dr. Hiba is an excellent teacher. He has been my GI Specialist for 18 years and has saved my life on a few occasions. I have referred many friends to him and every one of them continues to see him. I highly recommend Dr. Hiba. His office team is friendly, knowledgeable and professional and helpful. The office is always clean and tidy.

Takes 3 months to get an appt. Wait time is at least 1 hour. He has fallen asleep while talking to me

Dr. Hiba is Awesome! I have been a patient for 18 years & he has saved me many times. He is very knowledgeable in all medical fields, compassionate, kind & makes sure that you participate in the planning of your care. He follows up with patients & makes sure that you understand what he's told you. He recently diagnosed my husband & saved his life. I have referred many friends to him & they are all very happy with his care. Dr. Hiba is a fantastic physician & my husband & I will never see anyone else. I have been hospitalized frequently & he is always there to ensure that I'm in good hands. The Medical Team in his office are wonderful, they make every effort to care for you just like him. He spends a good amount of time with all his patients. Consequently the waiting time can be long. We understand & truly appreciate that when our turn comes we'll be afforded his attention. I've found many doctors lately, rush you. Not him. As an ICU RN, I am grateful to Dr. Hiba, he's the Best!

Did my ERCP procedure. I am healing up 100% and the procedure was done so well there are zero complications. He was highly recommended in an emergency situation. I feel like he took it serious and is a very skilled specialist. Paperwork was provided to me with pictures of my insides and the work they did.

Great Doctor and a wonderful staff.

I waited entirely to long to be seen in the waiting room. I waited over 4 hours to be seen. Office girls are rude and over charged me telling me the co pay was more then my insurance card said. As others have said he thinks he knows it all and is dead wrong. He tossed a paper at me when I told him that I was going for a retest of a test that I just had and did not tell him what it was he claimed I had wrong with me. After many visits of wasting my time and money I refused to go back to him and found a much more caring doctor that found out what was wrong with me. He also likes to schedule appointments and cancel on you.

He was arrogant and didn't listen to my complaints. He insisted that I was constipated and put me through the procedure and then said he couldn't get a clear picture. He prescribed over the counter constipation medicine and never discussed with me why I came to him in the first place. He never suggested a change of diet, or any other healthy approach. But, why would he? He is grossly over weight, his clothes are too tight, and he appears dirty. He has no concept of a time management and keeps his patients waiting for hours in the waiting room. There is always some emergency or another that the staff uses as the excuse.

Dr Hiba is NOT Thorough and his mistakes cause death. My father was under his care after an endoscope (routine procedure) and his negligent aftercare management resulted in the death of my father and I am aware (after the fact) if at least one other person that he released from Oakhill as the on call GI that resulted in a death as well. He didn’t even see my dad but once (even though he was at the hospital in the mornings) until he was on a ventilator and I demanded that he come.

Dr Hibba saved my life. I had gone to many doctors in Hernando County and they all said my problems were all in my head. After I ended up in the hospital Dr. Hibba was assigned to me. I had so many major health problems! I am a diabetic, with ischemic colitis, heart problems among other ailments. Dr. Hibba treated me as well as getting me into doctors in the community that turned my health around! Dr Hibba is the best!!!
