Mukesh Mehta's Online Review Report Card

As the result of a CT scan o 4-18 Dr Mehta sent me to outpatient at a Hospital to have the fluid drained from around the outside of my right lung .I next day April 19th I called his office and talked to Sherryl and asked to to have the doctor call me that my throat was very sore and had a hard time breathing.She said she text him.but to this day he never found time to call.This past monday(4-23) my throat was so bad I was able to see my family doctor who gave me Antibiotics for an infection.It's now 8 days since my procedure and it's still hard to breathe.I feel Dr Mehta is too busy working at Oak Hill Hospital that he doesn't really care about about his office patients. As of today(4-26) eight days after procedure I still have a hard time breathing and haven't heard any results from the fluid that was drained from outside my right lung.

You’ve gotta love this man. Not feeling well when you go for your appointment? You’ll feel much better when you leave. Attention active and retired first responders: this is the doctor for you. I agree with others who gave him five stars. Gets ten from me.

It was not a good experience. No one in the waiting room were wearing a mask except myself. The receptionist was rude and also did not wear a mask. I will be finding a new pulmonologist.

Dr. Mehta is highly intelligent & very empathetic. It's hard to find a doctor who is as educated & intelligent as Dr. Mehta is, who also is compassionate, patient, & who will actually sit down with his patients, LISTEN to them, ask questions & CONVERSE with them. He does not have his face in a NETbook while he speaks to his patient. He has his eyes facing his patient, and he is 100% PRESENT with that patient for the entire appt. MOST drs these days need to learn this vital ability in order to properly know, diagnose, & care for their patients. I just wish that Dr. Mehta could teach all medical residents this important doctoring technique. Sadly, many of today's younger drs just do not demonstrate what Dr. Mehta has (in addition to his extensive medical education & experience): HEART. Further, Dr. Mehta's staff is exactly like him -- under his tutelage & office rules, his patients are treated with patience, listened to, and accommodated in a professional & caring manner. BRAVO!

Very caring Dr. Listens to you and never have been rushed

I have been going to Dr Mehta since 2004, he’s helped me through a lot with my lungs , when I first moved to Florida I was in and out of the hospital but he took good care of me and still does, he takes his time with you he always greets you with a smile and always calls you by your name. I’ve sent about at least 4 patients to him and they are glad I did. If you happen to go the hospital he’s always there to visit, He’s a great Dr.

Dr Mehta saved my life. While on his way to dinner, received a call from Oak Hill hospital saying they were losing a patient with both fungal and bacterial pneumonia .He came straight to the hospital and personally wheeled me to surgery and put me on a ventilator ana a induced coma I was in the hospital for 17 days and not many people but him thought I was going to make it.

Dr. Mehta is extremely knowledgeable in his field. - honest, thorough, and very caring - the best pulmonologist ever!!!

I walked in needless to say as it was on the downward part of my day and walked out feeling better and had an not only feeling better mind wise,but also confident about my emmediate confindent in being treated by the good DOCTOR .I have the feeling if anyone can help me with my health problems is it is he.
